The amazing thing about this performance is Adam singing in the best cantorial tradition, there is something unique in his voice here that makes me feel I am in a synagogue...the interviewer picked up on that as well! back to the interview: Brian got so enthusiastic about doing the song but Adam's reaction was very hesitant imo ... did you sense the same? He would have to learn those words all over again, at least to be familiar with them.... Yes, I did think he was hesitant..

At first I thought "if they're only gonna stay in Israel for 3 days, that must mean they have another gig between Sep. 12 in Israel and Sep. 17 in Singapore". But then I checked flights from Israel to Singapore (checking flights seems to be the national sport of Lambertland) and realized there are no direct flights and the stop is usually very long, so just getting to Singapore would take about a day. And keeping in mind that they're traveling east and losing time, and they also probably don't want to get there in the last minute, I'm fairly certain that they have nothing between these two gigs. Apparently there was supposed to be a show in Moscow on Sept 14th but it fell through...and as much as I am sad for the Russian fans I am thrilled that QAL folks will have an opportunity to see and experience a little of Israel! And it sure looks they are in good hands there, especially Adam! That TV host is awesome! He was very cute, wasn't he?

Happy Birthday Oracle, I don't think I've ever 'met' the others, I'm sure I would have remembered nuttyglambutty! I've been really distracted lately, anyone have an audio for Brussels?? Or any of the gigs since? Please &, of course, thankyou... Thanks! And peanut butter cups are my all-time fav. So I guess I did use my real birthdate here lol.

I went into BSC mode and checked flights from Venice to Sydney...based on the time of his "arrivederci" snap I made the assumptions that he'd be taking an early afternoon flight and it would be the shortest possible one as the distance and the time difference makes the timing very tight. My (wild) guess is he'd be taking the Emirates flight : June 26 3:35p to 11:35p 6h Venice (VCE) to Dubai (DXB)Marco Polo (VCE) to Dubai Intl. (DXB)Emirates 136 2h 40m stop Dubai (DXB) June 27 2:15a to 10:05p 13h 50m Dubai (DXB) to Sydney (SYD)Dubai Intl. (DXB) to Kingsford Smith Intl. (SYD)Emirates 414 another option Ethihad Airways - but I am not sure he could've made the noon flight... 12:00p to 8:00p 6h Venice (VCE) to Abu Dhabi (AUH)Marco Polo (VCE) to Abu Dhabi Intl. (AUH)Etihad Airways 2879 operated by Alitalia 1h 55m stop Abu Dhabi (AUH) 9:55p to 5:55p 14h Overnight · Arrives Tue, Jun 27 Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Sydney (SYD)Abu Dhabi Intl. (AUH) to Kingsford Smith Intl. (SYD)Etihad Airways 454 in any case he arrives evening June 28 27th and goes to work a day later the next morning! OMG! I have no idea how he deals with jet-lag and maintains this constant high energy level...I guess melatonin and those energy drinks are his best friends... There are flights out of Milan that would work as well. But I am really surprised that he didn't fly back to London Saturday night/earlySunday AM on the Queen jet and catch a morning flight from Heathrow. Party to the plane and then straight to bed on take off. Whatever route he is going, it is going to be a long, long day.

Adam has a very good ear for dialogue and accents. I would think he would be more hesitant because of uncertainty about how it would fit into the flow of the show, and the personas he creates for it. It would create a jarring shift in concentration and presentation, as well as vocal style and delivery. A different mind set for him, and for the audience. I know that Brian frequently adds a local tune or a snippet of it in his solo section, but that is already a section with a different energy to it. Where would Adam put it within the parts of the set he performs? That is more likely to be what he is thinking rather than learning the song. IMO.

LOVED the interview! So casual, conversational and fun, yet informative.
Agree that there really isn't an appropriate place for Adam to sing this within a QAL concert (as much as it would be phenomenal to hear). "Hatikvah" played by Brian with an audience sing-along would probably be a better fit.

The daily entertainment news just started on TV, and they promoed the interview of Dana, the curled woman, with Adam and Brian. They showed Adam sing DSMN, then Brian say that even when girls discovered Freddie was gay, they didn't care and kept on with the same admiration. Showed Adam in AI, and teased Dana's "secret date" with Brian at the hotel after the show... Then showed Adam singing AOBTD. I hope someone ripps it, but if not, it will probably be on the show's webpage tomorrow.
