I saw quite some tweets about a video with Runnin'. Thought it might be new, but it's an older one. There are a lot of YT video's with Runnin' in it and it has made sure that Runnin' is currently his most popular song on YT worldwide! Having around 1.4 million views added to its tally every week. GT totals are still higher, but Runnin' is catching pretty fast. See: www.youtube.com/yt/artists/insights-artist.html?artist=%2Fm%2F07sbny7&artistName=Adam%2520LambertThe big peak at the end of the graph is the release of the WTTS video which also boosted all his other video's somewhat. The big peak in the middle is right after RiR Brazil when GT was also on it's peak. RUNNIN' has always always been a favorite in my books. In May 2012 my 23 yr old nephew was living with us for the summer. He indulged me by listening to the album. Song by song he gave me his opinion which was huge as he is not an Adam fan. (He realizes Adam has a great voice but his songs had not connected with him and the AMA performance...well enough said.) Anyway-- RUNNIN WAS HANDS DOWN HIS FAVORITE. One wonders, what if it had been released and its appeal. Adam was asked about RUNNIN, I think in a radio or telephone interview ---re the placement as a bonus track, as it was generating a ton of downloads. I remember Adam replied basically saying, he "f'ed up". Yet he didn't add the song to the Trespassing era. It took until the TOH tour to give it a live debut! As a fan I was thrilled!!! I rewound that song grouping on YouTube many a time. Haha
BUT I do gave a few questions RE THE YOUTUBE PLAYS. Adam gave away rights to RCA for albums 1 and 2 in order to get released from his contract...if I am remembering correctly. (If wrong then the rest of these questions will help me frame my thinking.) Would that have included his songwriting credits for the ones he did co-write? What I am asking I guess is--- money earned from YouTube usage of any song from FYE and TRESPASSING would go more to the label and songwriters?? Would Adam as a song writer get a monetary return or he waived those rights with the dissolution of the RCA contract? Are those details we would never know? I have Runnin on my Spotify GT/ALN playlist that has expanded along with WTHS, CGHT, etc etc ....just because it helps keep up the Runnin numbers too. Thought this was interesting trivia re Runnin from Song Facts...lots of "starving artists out there"www.songfacts.com/detail.php?id=36336"This frantic song finds Lambert singing about how he keeps running from his heart. The Nashville songwriters Catt Gravitt and Robert Marvin wrote it for him after Lambert recorded another song they co-wrote, "Underneath," and asked for another. Lambert is also credited on the track along with Fred Williams and David Marshall. The Nashville influence explains why a bottle of whiskey shows up in the lyric.
The track and vocal melodies were written by David Marshall, who at the time was a struggling songwriter working at a hair salon in Nashville. Robert Marvin had the track on his computer along with about 10 others from different composers. He played all of them for his co-writer Catt Gravitt, and she picked Marshall's from the bunch. He didn't tell her until the later that Marshall worked at her salon."

That Sharka drawing is of the one gesture Adam does that I don't much care for... . Not that my opinion will stop him, haha. Count me in as finding his gesture w/o class. As well as the us of the word "p" and "c". I don't find it endearing but very vulgar. To each their own. But just not classy

Cassie. Or any other voice expert
yesterday, the two Glee episodes featuring Adam ' marry the Night' and 'gloria'. I noticed he has a 'grit' in his voice at certain times. I. Example Gloria. Approx .40 sec into song you can hear the 'grit' although not throughout the whole song
is this a effect for the song or possibly flem in throat???
i really liked his character Eliot on Glee. Too bad the show has ended.

Lastly. On Twitter someone bought an interview where Brian noted there might possibly be music between queen and Adam. As he noted Adam is getting very busy and his days may be numbered
anyone else read this?????

Too bad the show has ended. I was listening yesterday as well, and noticed it. I am 100% sure it is intentional for effect. Why? Because these were recorded in the studio with multiple takes. Perfectionist Adam would not have accepted a take where his voice was anything less than what he wanted and intended.

I know GRIMACE and yuck Let's not forget that our man is a product of living in the WeHo ghetto for too long...his language, gestures and perceptions are deeply rooted in that seemingly very specific culture... my "education" started with his use of "bitches" addressing the audience - not something you hear form the stage of the Met Opera... .. by now- I wouldn't even blink at anything he does...#educatedfanhere
