Hmmmm, thanks! This sounds legit! I am SO hoping this is legit! He hasn't been on American TV in a long time. The US probably barely remembers him. He's out of the country so much. It looks like a line-up of very big names. I hope he does perform! I hope so too. But it'll be a cover, so as far as publicity goes it's kinda meh imo...yup, that was a technical term :D

I hope it's at least a cover we haven't heard. Please let it be Sweet Child o' Mine

If he is on a major primetime US show lineup. I don't care if he sings the phonebook. I don't think it matters, if its a cover. Does that matter?

Would that be problem if he sang MW? I mean its a performance he is famous for, people would instantly recognise. I woulden't have a problem with it persay. But I would prefer a brand new cover. He could become the new Elvis, and do a Elvis cover haha. A Change is Gonna Come could be appropriate.

I've only watched snippets of the show, but my impression was that it featured songs you can remember dancing to, singing to, and partying to. Songs like "Footloose". Grace Potter had the tv audience on their feet to her number - I just don't recall now what it was, but it was certainly a familiar upbeat one. So, I don't see MW at all. The producers want a happy audience.
