IMO, the only way this will get to US radio is 1) Big sales or 2) Crazy high number of streams. Sadly, it is almost impossible for a small indie label toget radio play. Now, since Tritonal has their own SIRIUS radio show, massive play there could help with sales. If I remember correctly, CGH got into Top 10 Dance on iTunes. But it didn't last long. A better video might have helped it though. Thanks, you kind of made my point better than I did. I now how hard it is to get on US radio, but that, of course, is the key to a song becoming a true hit. It's great that these smaller labels can get at least get a song out there. Adam does have a strong international fan base, so that helps a lot. But the US market is the Holy Grail. I guess one thing that these in-between-album songs do is to keep his visibility up until his next album comes out. Broken is a good song. Adam has yet to have a US mega-hit that EVERYONE knows and is singing along to. I want him to have a hit song that will become a classic and played on the Oldies stations for decades to come. A song with staying power forever. It'll happen!!!! I'm hoping RHPS will give him a visibility boost, too. Every little bit helps. This single is not about radio and it's success will NOT be measured by radio airplay. Watch the streaming and to a lesser extent sales numbers. 1. Radio is no longer THE path to a song becoming a true hit. Streaming is now the most important media and accounts for 34% of US Music Revenue. Radio is an expense. 2. The US market is NOT the Holy Grail -- GLOBAL HITS are what matter. US market is only 30% of global music revenue. (Far less for EDM artists, higher for Adam.) 3. Adam has two hits that are widely known -- WWFM (due to radio) and Ghosttown (due primarily to streaming). 4. Everyone does not live in the US. Finally, there will not be "Oldies stations" for decades to come. We are 5 to 10 years away from the death of broadcast radio.
