IT is funny most of Adams music is EDM. SO guess that is who ADam is, that is hte music he likes, and that is the music he makes. SO I am not surprised at all with these EDM Collabs. And Broken is a bit of a banger. Apart from the breakdown into Katy Perry's teenage dream haha. But that should be no issue. Since I don't listen to KP, JT or JB, that's definitely not an issue for me lol....I wouldn't know a KP song from a JB song. Really, most of Adam's music is EDM? That would surprise me....not so sure about that. Or do you mean, most of what Adam listens to is EDM?

I really like Broken a lot. Adam is such a diverse artist who thankfully will not be put in a box. Pop/EDM/Rock and he can slay a ballad. Not many current artists (even the hit makers)can come close to this man's talent. He may not be a radio darling but he is in demand. Can't wait to see what is next.

HELP! Adamtopia Amazon link does not work for me and I can't see iTunes link either at the bottom of the Home thread. Just FYI, if you have an ad blocker it will interfere with the Amazon and iTunes links on the page. I run ad blocker and I have to disable it on the home page to be able to see the links. Also I think you have to be on the home page not in the news thread for the links to show but Q3 would have to clarify that. But there is definitely a problem with some of the ad blockers. rihannsu, thank you so much. Q3's LINK worked and when I "PAUSE" the adblock, I was able to see the second Amazon logo with the link underneath the first one.

I like that "Broken" is an interesting take on a love song. Not the kind of thing you hear, lyrically, every day on the radio. I think it's fun, uplifting, danceable, and invites singing along---very catchy and addictive. I like the vocal, too. Should be a breeze for him to perform live, if it ever comes to that. Hope Adam's able to be involved in making a music video for the song.

Thanks, you kind of made my point better than I did. I now how hard it is to get on US radio, but that, of course, is the key to a song becoming a true hit. It's great that these smaller labels can get at least get a song out there. Adam does have a strong international fan base, so that helps a lot. But the US market is the Holy Grail. I guess one thing that these in-between-album songs do is to keep his visibility up until his next album comes out. Broken is a good song. Adam has yet to have a US mega-hit that EVERYONE knows and is singing along to. I want him to have a hit song that will become a classic and played on the Oldies stations for decades to come. A song with staying power forever. It'll happen!!!! I'm hoping RHPS will give him a visibility boost, too. Every little bit helps. This single is not about radio and it's success will NOT be measured by radio airplay. Watch the streaming and to a lesser extent sales numbers. 1. Radio is no longer THE path to a song becoming a true hit. Streaming is now the most important media and accounts for 34% of US Music Revenue. Radio is an expense. 2. The US market is NOT the Holy Grail -- GLOBAL HITS are what matter. US market is only 30% of global music revenue. (Far less for EDM artists, higher for Adam.) 3. Adam has two hits that are widely known -- WWFM (due to radio) and Ghosttown (due primarily to streaming). 4. Everyone does not live in the US. Finally, there will not be "Oldies stations" for decades to come. We are 5 to 10 years away from the death of broadcast radio. Well, I guess I'm willing to stand corrected on most of what I posted. If radio play is less and less important for new music, than I guess that's a great advantage for Adam and most other artists. I just want him to be hugely successful and have a long career legacy. BUT, I stand by my statement that there will ALWAYS be some form of "oldies" radio. I do believe that there will always be stations out there that will play songs from every decade since rock and roll began in the 1950s. I know those songs can be accessed many ways, just like new music, but I think that, as long as radios still exist, there will always be a radio nostalgia market for "classics." Elvis, Beatles, Stones, etc. etc. etc. JMO

He is definitely Pop with some Pop/Rock
