I am happy the QAL rehearsals have started again. Now I wonder what local variations to the setlist we will get? It may just be the regular set list in China since they have never performed there and so there is not a special song associated with the country like there is in Japan. I am guessing they will do the festival staging, right!?! I hope for something special in Israel. If not Adam, then from Brian. My hope is Adam sings something special. Japan will probably be a typical setlist for Japan -- Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together) and Dragon Attack are likely to appear. Although since they have 3 shows in the same venue, they could toss in a couple different shows here and there. China, Hong Kong and Taipei are likely to be pretty much the standard QAL setlist. I guess they will use some version of the Summer 2016 Festival Tour staging.

Well, maybe that too. But it is kind of like the truism 'all politics is local' because for me anyway, the fact that the woman is naked and the guy (straight or gay) is clothed is first and foremost a sexism/power issue and it is fucking annoying. Now if Troye and the girl were both clothed and they were kissing or in some other way overtly sexual, I would be very disturbed primarily that someone found it necessary to negate a gay man's sexual identity in order to promote him. PS: I have never really enjoyed Adam's naked girl photoshoot for the same reason. PSS: I also responded to that particular Huffpo article a couple of threads ago ... www.adamtopia.com/post/774936Exactly that! And it's always been done. Mads Mikkelsen did it a years ago with a model, and after John Peel died some photos surfaced of him, but I then saw a few DJ's from the 70's had done it, and it's just been an accepted thing, but the power play thing is obvious for anyone to see..At least John Peel is naked in that one (or maybe not ), but there are others where he is clothed and the model is just hanging around naked for no reason.. John Lennon turned it around..

Freaky, John and Oko's photo was a very powerful statement that they understood perfectly. John Lennon - feminist!!!

I had not really thought of it before, but this picture could be the reason so many people never really accepted Yoko and resented what they assumed was her power over John and their relationship. They were reacting to the picture...which clearly makes it look like she is the powerful one...the only ode to her femininity is her hair flowing out...otherwise, she is androgynous to assexual in appearance...
Interesting....I had not broken it down like that before...thanks freakydeaky...
