Nica, i don't necessarily think anyone can answer for all Jews. Or all of everything. I am Catholic and going to Vatican City would be all about history for me, not religious at all. I don't think any of us can know how Adam approached that visit. But considering he prayed with the Rabbi, i think assuming it meant something special to him, is a good assumption. sure, we have no idea...actually we don't know he prayed, although the report said so...I doubt he even knows how to pray... I am just saying that the visit itself is not a surprise, it's like if you get to Jerusalem for the first time in your life you sure go to the Western Wall... generalizing of course... oh, those pictures in full religious prayer regalia over the tattooed arms are everything! I showed them to my mom and she said:" now we love him even more", then she looked at me and added:" if loving him 'more' is even possible" ..lol...

3ku1, I agree. I don't think of Freddie at all when I see Adam performing with Queen. Other than singing his and Queen songs (both being fantastic singers and showmen) I did not get the constant comparisons. Well, he does remind me more of Freddie sometimes when he goes more camp. But when he is a sexy hot rock n roller (my description and not yours, lol) I only see and feel Adam.

Not a direct quote (cuz I can'T remember exactly the convo), but Oprah asked him if he prayed. His answer was something like "I send it out to the universe"

from the several crowd pictures we saw it seems to me the crowd was skewed young... especially closer to the stage...
what do our concert attendees say?

I was "talking"/messaging to another Adam fan (not on this board) a couple of days ago about Adam's visit to Israel. She is Jewish and has had several trips to Israel, some extended over her life. It's a very special place for her - she said she can imagine the air and be transported back. I said to her that I don't have anything like that in my life. I was raised R. Catholic in New Jersey, went over to the Episcopal Church as an adult (Anglican for anyone with British roots), and I'm of Polish and Irish descent, third generation. But Jerusalem is still that city on the hill. In the Episcopal choir, I can sing Blake's "Jerusalem" (Chariots of Fire, anyone?) and think about God establishing "Jerusalem in England's green and pleasant land." Or, people can go find Emerson Lake and Palmer's rendition of Jerusalem from the 70s on youtube.

Glamily Brasil @glamilybrasil 52s52 seconds ago View translation Segundo um fã, Brian e Roger já foram vistos desembarcando em Cingapura. Adam provavelmente já deve ter chegado ao país também.
Translated from Portuguese by Bing Wrong translation? According to a fan, Brian and Roger have been seen landing in Singapore. Adam probably should have reached the country.

Next time I take a chauffeured limo with my bodyguard sightseeing between business commitments, imma call it a pilgrimage lol The above is what i responded to.Sorry if my dismay annoyed any of you I was poking fun at the tweeter's use of the word pilgrimage. Period. Nothing else. It would have been equally presumptuous in the other extreme for her to have said he simply "popped in" for a quick look see. A pilgrimage is something that I envision as being the central purpose of one's journey. I felt she cheapened the term. I wasn't even touching on religion
