I feel like we've seen the dropped shorts before but I don't remember liking them. Ahhh, maybe a meet and greet photo. Anyway I liked them both ways with the long boots as in I Want to Break Free and the sandals for the encore so maybe he's figured out what to pair them with. They look like athletic team shorts or maybe it's that they are shorts and not dropped crotch pants. Don't know and can't really explain why I thought they looked good. Probably not a good thing in Israel but they, especially with the long boots, looked a bit German.

DO we have this? www.israellycool.com/2016/09/13/what-is-it-like-to-see-queen-in-park-hayarkon-in-tel-aviv/What Is It Like To See Queen In Park HaYarkon In Tel Aviv
and the post linking to this site on QOL: discuss.queenonline.com/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=7795&start=45I found this bit very interesting: "I touched on it in my post, but didnβt go into detail. We get royally screwed on ticket prices, and trust me, average wages donβt make up for it. To sell so many tickets is testament to the giant appeal of Queen. Security is a huge factor coupled with the fact that there just isnβt the population here to make two nights possible for even mega rock bands. The security necessary to have 55,000+ in one place here is off the charts: unless youβve seen it you canβt imagine it. Thankfully nobody has ever tried to attack an event like this which is the point. I know, for example, that our missile defence system Iron Dome is specifically in place and covering that spot with more batteries than strictly necessary for such an event." Kind of a jarring thought. There are so many issues with bringing major artists to Israel -- security is one, the high cost of being a "remote" market, the lack of a major arena venue (20,000 seat indoor venue), and the boycott. I am pleased that it all went smoothly, and that no one made a big deal about Q+AL and the cultural boycott of Israel. (Rolling Stones and other major artists have decided to perform in Israel -- but many have decided to pass). Without an indoor arena, major acts can only be booked in the summer -- and then they need to sell 40,000+ tickets to make the financials work. Many artists have cancelled Israel tour stops because of low ticket sales -- Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys and others. Another popular singer in this category is Katy Perry, whose asking price for coming to Israel is between $1.3-1.4 million, but whose comparative lack of popularity in Israel keeps producers from offering her more than $800,000. Even a band like AC/DC, one of the oldest rock bands still playing and an internationally beloved act, who can attract crowds of 80,000 people in places like Munich, wouldnβt be feasible to bring over. www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4712979,00.html I am so pleased that Queen finally got to play Israel -- I know they have many fans there who never got to see them until this concert. I am more pleased that Adam got to perform in Israel -- and to spend some time there.

from the several crowd pictures we saw it seems to me the crowd was skewed young... especially closer to the stage... what do our concert attendees say?Β From my side of the concert it was a varied crowed of young, older and in between.. Very diverse! βΊ It was such a good concert!!

Watching that Dragon Attack. Although I don't see what you ladies see haha, being a Straight Adam Lambert fan. Although I acknowledge, he is a very very good looking man haha. Point is I have never seen him so confident with Queen. He is just owning it now. IT does not feel like he is filling Freddies shoes. IT feels like he is put Freddies shoes aside, calmy put them down. Taken his 6 foot Pythons. And just walked on Stage. And said I am here! I have arrived! Exactly! And because I know how much you enjoy the fashion discussions on here, I would also say that this is the reason he wore the kind of edgy, avant-garde fashion we'd expect him to wear at his own shows. Until now, he's always gone for a more classic rock star look but now it's as though he's thrown all caution to the wind both in his demeanour and his outfits on stage.
