Does anyone have the US start time for Tokyo show? NEVER MIND - it is 3:00 AM Pacific time. I will be getting home from a baseball game around 1:00 AM so I am guessing I might as well stay up all night. :-S twitter.com/mmadamimadamm/status/778263217797795841

You may be confusing the We Will Rock You musical production with the Queen Extravaganza. Marc is the lead vocalist for QE. The QE experience is listed as a 90 minute show .....and having never seen it in it's entirety, I'm not sure if it has ever exceeded that. I thought the initial versions of QE did have multiple singers. In fact, didn't a woman sing WWTLF? And didn't Jeff Scott Soto sing in it at one point. Even though Marc is the only singer now, why does he not sing WWTLF? Also, I heard Paul could not sing all the songs in the catalog and that some keys were lowered. I remember telling my dentist I was going to a concert and he said "Who?" And I said Queen and Adam Lambert. He was a Queen fan and he said "Wow, if there is anyone who can sing those songs, it's him. He has the range". Since then whenever he sees me he asks about them, and the last time he said "Every die-hard Queen fan I know thinks it's a positive thing. No one can replace Freddie but he's the next best thing." I sometimes wonder if all these haters really are just a small group. If you look at the number of dislikes versus views on the YouTube videos, it's always a really small percentage. I think a lot of the haters are on Queen Online. I noticed very few comments there from the last few shows. Yes, there were other vocalists, including Soto, but from the wiki info Jeff and another male vocalist were only there for the 2012 tour. Jennifer Espinoza is still listed as a current member, but I have no idea whether she actually is or not.

The QE website lists only 4 band members, with Marc Martel as the only lead singer. It looks like they also add a keyboard player for their shows. Here's the current band info: www.queenextravaganza.com/about/

I'm still feeling bliss... That concert was one of my greatest experienecs. And we were so lucky to get 2 extra songs, because there was no other show for 5 days afterwards. You are sooo right!!! I will probably be buzzing about this concert for a while.. And on another note I finally picked an Adam avatar, if someone already has it let me know.. You picked my favorite pic of Adam of all time! Good choice! Post often! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

While it has been said by a few people I just wanted to agree that there is little vitriol towards Marc because Marc isn't touring with B&R. ANYONE touring with B&R would get their fair share of vitriol. Paul Rodgers got a fair share of vitriol as well. He may have gotten less than Adam for 2 reasons. A. Paul is COMPLETELY a different singer. A non-campy, low blues and soul voice. So there was far less comparison. and B. He had a semi-legendary career of his own with 2 largely successful bands (Free & Bad Company) so it was more the meeting of contemporaries. While Adam is seen as someone with no real pedigree of success on his own- and like it or not - he's associated with American Idol which is considered the anti-artist type show. Marc is someone who sounds a lot like Freddie at times and is just singing in a tribute band that DOES play deep cuts as well.... Me? I liked Paul for the reasons I've stated. I loved Marc at QEX which can be a 2 hour show. I saw them a few times when they were in the US. I wish they'd come back now that they are doing the whole A Night At The Opera album. THAT would be awesome. In fact I wish QAL would do that but Brian is far too....comfortable (if I'm honest and I don't mean this negatively because he's far more than earned the right to do what he wants - too lazy) to work out the arrangements and practice on something like that...He's just happy slinging the old lady on and playing all the hits medleys they've been doing at this point. I've also liked Adam for what he brings that Paul couldn't. Hopefuly we'll get a leak or single release of the QAL recordings :D THAT is something I'd really want to hear even more than concert footage
