Ok, admit, who else has watched that IWTBF snippet a couple, maybe a few dozen times??? He's so adorable, and I just keep falling in love with this guy and his amazing voice over and over again. What an amazing gig for him to get...wonder if they asked him, or if one of his people got it for him? And I love when people see him on TV and go to research him..falling down that rabbit hole, as I did years ago. Only now, there is soooo much more to find..you could be glued to your computer for days and weeks. Oh wait, I still am. Love that olive green jacket above, gorgeous ! Um, I MIGHT have watched it more than once. What a delight. First, he opens his mouth and starts singing and it is as if the broadcast went from mono to surround sound. The quality of his tone, its clarity, ring and presence jumps out at you, particularly after hearing a bunch of other singers. It is always remarkable, but in this context, it stands out like a beacon. Secondly, he does this with no warm up or prep. If you are not a singer, you might not appreciate what that means. If you play guitar or piano, and someone spontaneously asks you to play something, you don't need prep. The piano or guitar is ready to go, and your fingers don't need to warm up. But the voice is another matter. Like a runner should warm up before a race, a singer has muscles that need to be ready for use. Also, the resonance chambers in your head need to have the "cobwebs" shaken out. The vocal cords need to be clear of mucus and be flexible. A singer knows it is risky to try a challenging range or power without the proper prep. Thirdly, Adam likes his microphone set in very specific ways to get the right quality of tone, reverb, space and ping. We all know how meticulous he is about his mic. For this impromptu singing, he had no opportunity to soundcheck it or tweak it. I also imagine that Guy and Iggy and the host have never heard Adam sing full out, live. Just that voice. I am sure they have heard his recordings, but we all know how much more impressive it is live. I bet they were blown away to experience that voice in that setting. I don't think it is an exaggeration to say they may have realized they have actually been, unknowingly, in the presence of greatness all this time. I imagine their inner monologue being something like, "OH! THAT! WOW! I had no idea. DAMN!!!" Such fun to see and hear. And he did that performance without warming up his voice at all. But so glad it's IWTBF and not songs that demand too much of his voice.

LOL! On Adam's 'print page' outfit when he sang the duet of IWTBF on XFactorAU!
loha @lohablondie 2h2 hours ago Even with that outfit he commands the stage, it's like his charisma acts as a cloaking mechanism for the bad fashion lol

Sounds like Adam has left London. I know many had thought he might be heading back in LA. Distant Horizon......lol. At least the process has begun. DISTANT HORIZON... sounds like really good for a title of his new album.

#ALAlwayz @alalwayz 3m3 minutes ago #6 Adam Lambert #MarryTheNight > Best Glee Guest Stars’ Performances BEST GLEE GUEST STARS’ PERFORMANCES HEADER FEATURED URSULA MARTINEZ0 2:41 pm October 09, 2016
Courtesy of Fox30 years ago today FOX Network began its broadcast. During the past three decades it has brought us many shows we love, breaking barriers and taking on series that most networks would most likely have passed on. FOX green-lit and aired many groundbreaking shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, Married… With Children, Glee, The X-Files, Fringe, Firefly, American Idol and Beverly Hills 90210, among many, many others. While other networks stuck with typical sitcoms and one-hour procedurals (we’re looking at you CBS), FOX gave TV fans something different and much needed. To show our appreciation we have chosen to write about some of our favorite FOX series for the next few days. Happy 30th FOX! We start our FOX appreciation days with Glee, one of the best shows aired by the network, which was broadcast for six seasons starting on 2009. While it’s true that some of the initial magic was lost during the last seasons of the show, especially with the passing of its beloved star Cory Monteith, Glee was a force to be reckoned. Not only was it a huge hit ratings-wise for FOX, but also the show sold really well abroad, it was critically acclaimed, its merchandising was everywhere, the cast made records, toured the world and even made a movie. Not only was Glee a show about the power of dreams, acceptance, tolerance and love; but every week it also taught its audience musical literacy, with many teens hearing Broadway musical classics for the first time (and loved those songs!). During the six seasons Glee aired, the phenomenon also caught the eye of many famous stars who were invited (and some even asked) to be part of the show. Neil Patrick Harris and Gwyneth Paltrow got Emmys for their guest roles. The list of Glee guest stars is something to be admired and probably much envied by other showrunners: singers (Britney Spears, Ricky Martin, Demi Lovato, Gloria Estefan), Broadway icons (Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Patti Lupone), TV actors (Neil Patrick Harris, Matt Bomer, John Stamos), movie stars (Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Jeff Goldblum) and bonafide legends (Carol Burnett, Shirley MacLaine, Helen Mirren) were part of the Glee family. Most of these stars also performed on the show and we have chosen our favorite performance from our 15 preferred guest stars. Here’s our Pop15 Best Glee Guest Stars’ Performances: Adam mention:6. ADAM LAMBERT (ELLIOT GILBERT): “MARRY THE NIGHT” – LADY GAGA
Adam Lambert is a force. The American Idol alum’s first Glee performance left everyone with their mouths open. He totally slayed Gaga’s song, his voice soared to unparalleled new heights and his whole performance while singing was on fire.
