Is anyone, besides me, getting completely gobsmacked by Adam on XF? Every pic, every screen cap, every video he outdoes his previous fabulousness! GAH! Well, I guess I surprised myself, not having had a telly since 2006, I didn't think I could sit thru full episodes of X Factor, of all things, but I have really enjoyed Adam's contribution. It seems so fair and based on great judgement. And I want to see more of that outfit he wore to the 'boot camp' thing, looked awesome.. Yes! Me too! Must see those pants again!

We all have known how terrific he is for a long time now but at least Australia gets to see it first hand. I wish he had more exposure in the US. Apparently there was a line in the show Two Broke Girls that said something like "he disappeared faster than Adam Lambert". I saw that in a facebook post and it made me sad! The US is really missing out! Y'know, that line from Two Broke Girls really ticks me off! It's also very important. It shows that the US market is largely unaware of what he's been doing since Idol. So many people lost track of him. I'd love to write a letter to the writers of that show and enlighten them. Good Lord. He needs more US exposure. PLEASE let there be a big US hit on Album 4! It will bring him to the attention of the US and lead to more opportunities. He's too multitalented to just be left in the background. He's proving that every day in OZ. Grrrrr! Just read the previous comments about Two Broke Girls which I hadn't read when I commented above. Maybe the context is a little different than I thought it was. I don't know. It just infuriates me when someone implies that Adam has disappeared and has not accomplished anything in his career. Are they deaf and blind????

I'm loving the OZ exposure, but noticed that the viewer ratings are < 1 million folks, so far between 800,000 - 900,000 per episode. I realize that OZ is a small country, population wise. Not sure how the percentage compares to US TV viewership for US talent shows. Fingers crossed that RHPS gets good ratings on FOX next week. We know that Eddie will kill his part. Maybe after he gets rave reviews out of OZ, he can move to maybe XFactor in the UK and then onto something similar in the US. I love seeing him on TV! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_X_Factor_(Australia_season_8)

I guess it is a ll a matter of interpretation.... and taste. I interpreted the line as meaning that Adam goes thru boyfriends in quick succession. Don't know why the writers would think that, or if they were just looking for a gag line. But, it says to me that the writers think Adam is highly recognizable to the audience as are his social appearances and celebrity status. It would not be a "funny" line of the audience heard it and said, "Who is Adam Lambert? I don't get it." By joking about his love life, they are implying that Adam is a highly recognizable figure in our culture. IMHO.

I love seeing him on TV! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_X_Factor_(Australia_season_8)It's down from the 1.5 they had for the 1st session last year but it's been winning it's time slot fairly often. I read an earlier article with Simon Cowell who said they would love love for shows to get the audience numbers the US XFactor was getting if he had it to do over. Instead they thought the numbers were so bad the tweaked the show too much trying to get Idol stats and destroyed it instead. So the thing is not to compare the numbers but to compare the competition. That's what the advertisers get into. On RHPS I'm excited but I don't think it will be a publicity plus that much for Adam. It's closer to his old look than the suave guy we know him is now and that counts for a lot. We'll see but I like Xfactor a lot more for making an impact even if it's a smaller country. Save

They actually reference all things and people that are current. Almost every episode does. I interpret it as he is a well known gay man popular enough to use in this reference and to imply most people know who Adam is and would get the humour. Nothing derogitory. They could have used any well known gay man in this reference. It wasn't meant as Adam Lambert is not popular anymore, it referenced they hope their gays last as long as Adam Lambert's boyfriends do. Popular enough to reference Adam is all good. As most things, this is open to interpretation. I first thought that that it meant they hope their gays last as long as Adam Lambert's encounters because Adam is so gorgeous his partners would be spent pretty quick. Well, I know I would be. Lol

I'd love for him to get the same exposure in the UK, but he's got to have a single to promote at the same time. That way maybe he can at last get played in British radio. Either that, or a collab with S Smith...
