I know Adam himself has said he was time challenged but he has never to my knowledge been late for a TV performance or taping. Not once on Glee that I heard of, or any of the live TV shows he's done. Some of the concerts where he's started late I believe he was doing interviews or meet and greets! So I find this label rather mean spirited. That is not a label you want in show business! I doubt he would have lasted with Queen if he didn't show up on time. The watch I believe is purely decorative, JMHO of course!

Just watched the videos, trying to catch up as our internet was out this morning. I've loved Isaiah and Amalia from the beginning (Amalia's voice is to die for), so I'm really happy with the choices. Either of the remaining 2 girls were ok. The only thing I'm worried about Amalia is that she has a very specific voice, switching genres would be problematic for her (can't see her singing rock for example) but I don't know if they do that on XF. I have to say, I like their format better than AI, the quality of singers they let through seems much better. When Adam was on AI, I would listen to his parts, then mute the TV lol

From their FB page: Learn from the best, with the best ... Harrison Craig – Winner of The Voice, Bonnie Anderson – Winner of Australia’s Got Talent, Caterina Torres, Matt Corby, Nathaniel, Daniel Merriweather, Kelebek, Fatai V, Delta Goodrem … and the list goes on. Master Coach David Jaanz, shares a few secrets on his unique approach, Emotion Centred Singing: the method creating the new generation of stars today from the ground up. “ECS is a phenomenon that works and creates stars, and will continue to create stars. We will keep doing it year after year. How? Because many singing schools simply do scale after scale, which at Jaanz we call, ‘outer singer coaching’. More often than not, the results are singers that are generic, emotionally shallow and cannot stand out. Our success attests to the power of ECS and our focus on the ‘outer singer’ as well as the ‘inner singer’. How can a singer expect to compete with Beyoncé, Usher or U2 and get the record deals, simply by ‘copying’ and being ‘technically correct’? ECS reinforces solid technique, but in a way that is unique to the individual and that preserves uniqueness. ECS is not a ‘one way’ approach. It does not take out of a voice, the ‘rawness’ and ‘edge’ that can be too easily trained out of a singer in the pursuit of ‘correctness’. The pursuit of ECS is not ‘correctness, but ‘greatness’; the ‘greatness’ found in the ‘lesser’, in the individual’s ‘natural game’, where the unique artist can emerge. This is what Emotion Centred Singing is all about.”

How very very much do I want to see Adam and Natalie Ong duet on an Etta James song?
So very much.

No one is suggesting Adam isn't a professional or that he's ever been late for a TV performance. Adam himself has joked several times in interviews about needing help with his time-keeping - so fans joke about it too. Let's not start calling people 'mean-spirited' for light-hearted teasing about a watch. Trust me, producers aren't judging Adam's professionalism by reading fan forums; his reputation is built by the work he does & the people who actually work with him.

I just watched Adam pick his team. I totally agree with all his choices until the last one....I believe he should have switched out Isaiah...I do not think he holds a candle to Ivy...jmho I tend to agree with you. I like Isaiah well enough....just not feeling the XFactor from him. I realize Natalie has the vocal chops and she dresses really cool, etc, but I just don't feel a connection to her. But she's really disciplined and focused and that's important. I like Amalia the best of the three. I do feel a connection to her. Adam seemed to really want the best singers in those 3 different "lanes". I imagine MelB will pick up either Ivy or Vlado. I really don't care who winds up winning the show....but I do want Adam to win....lol.

Cannot wait to see more of this girl. If you've got it, you've got it, imo.

It is hard to evaluate Adam's choices when we only see the producers' edits of singers and songs and comments. Still, I think Adam has a very strong group. I found it most interesting to hear his reasoning behind his choices. He didn't just go for the best voice. He went for diversity in styles and something unique in their performances. He also put a priority on performances that captured emotions, which, considering how masterful Adam is at interpreting songs tells me that he understands how important that ability of his is, and how much thought he puts into it. I am not crazy about Isiah, but he has a lot of soul for someone that young, and that makes him stand out compared to the boy band, Shaun Mendez types. And, knowing how passionate voting fans are, he HAD to have at least one boy. I think another selling point for Adam was their composure on stage. He had originally said he wanted the "overs" because they had life experience and time to develop, making them more resilient. To compensate for getting the youngsters, he looked for those whose nerves did not show in their demeanor, and more importantly, in their voices. In the two girls I didn't hear any wobbles in pitch or support that frequently happen with nerves. They were consistent in their singing, which is rare in someone that young. I will be interested to see what Guy and Iggy are looking for, and if it is as well thought out as Adam's choices. Yep, he was thinking to have Natalie, Amalia and Ivy. Mel mel_Tea 2h2 hours ago It wasn't shown but when Adam was deciding who to swap... he was struggling whether to have all girls top 3 & no boy...they all decided no I was up til 3am watching the nail biter on periscope and got most of the coverage, with occasional freezes.Tough one. It was hard for me to see Ivy go. Natalie...I would throw my whole shoe rack at her!!! I think Adam was not only looking for talent and the "X-Factor" but also for stamina. Another thought...Adam may have already made up his mind during bootcamp where he likely got a good idea of each contestant's capabilities and personality. We didn't get to see any of that, did we? Please correct me if I get the logistics of it wrong.

I actually do not like to see talent lose out to gender parity, regardless of which direction. I do not personally think Isaiah had a fraction of the talent that Ivy has...or Baily, for that matter....albeit Bailey's performance this time was not equal to her first...imho

Social media and fan forums contribute a lot to how people are viewed. Adam has already had to overcome a lot of labels. Just don't like this one. My opinion only! Maybe mean spirited was too harsh, how about just not funny!
