OK, I'll play: Amalia says "It's my genre. It's a big emotional song by a huge artist known worldwide. She tops the charts around the world, and I look up to her, and I know so many people look up to her as an inspiration, because her voice is just really powerful. It's not just a ballad, it's a power ballad, it's got the guts in it, and I can't wait to sing it. It's SO me". The powerful voice makes me think - Beyonce? Maybe "Halo"? But the "guts" part makes me think Pink. IDK. Any ideas? Amalia seems truly enthusiastic about it, so I'm thinking someone current, that she knows well. I'll play. Could it be Kelly Clarkson? Piece by Piece!!

I think Adele is an obvious choice, but they will likely surprise us. I thought about Beyonce too, but it has to be the right song for Amalia's more tender vocals. May be Sia's Chandelier, but that's not really a power ballad, is it? The suspense is killing me. I like Amalia a lot - she totally blew me away with "Frozen".

She's got a good voice but I'm not sure someone like Pink would be an Idol of Amalia and Pink wouldn't exactly be her genre. My first thought was Adele...but Beyonce is a good throw-in as well! It sound's like it's some current and a alive, so we rule out Whitney Houston and Celine Dion. Kelly Clarkson also came to mind, she has a great voice and empowering lyrics/catalogue "piece by piece" would be a reacent hit.

I'm curious about how the VR thing will work. Will it be viewable on a movie screen and be kind of like IMAX but even better? They can't possibly expect everyone will have some kind of VR headset/viewer/google glasses sort of setup. I guess we'll find out soon... I don't understand it either. Don't know if it will eventually be sold as individual DVDs or BluRays for viewing at home. Not very many folks have 3D TV sets. Maybe you can get some kind of viewer/glasses, etc. I'm so not up on these things. It may be a while and down the pipeline for the full show. This is being billed as a 3 song preview. Don't know if this will be the Tour DVD we've been hoping for or a special project in addition to a normal DVD/BluRay. VR has nothing to do with 3D TV. Here is an in depth and updated article on what is required to support VR viewing...... www.polygon.com/2016/1/15/10772026/virtual-reality-guide-oculus-google-cardboard-gear-vr

How about Rihanna and "Stay"? I was thinking of that song, too. But then Amalia said "Power Ballad" and I don't know if 'Stay' is a power ballad.

How about Rihanna and "Stay"? "Stay" is a wonderful choice for her, but I doubt Amalia would call Rihanna's voice "powerful"...
