While I agree Adam needs a breakthrough hit in the US. Adam has always appealed foreign markets more then the US. Their is this notion US don't embrace Adam , the world we'll Haha. Maybe that's already happened. He has always done better in Asia, Oz, NZ, Europe etc. Getting a big radio hot in the US comes down to a combination of a lot of luck, the right song, and timing. Adam has always one or two but not all three. Of course US is not the only market, it's not the be end and end all. Queen did not need to break through in US, nor have they ever been recognised by the Grammys for a life achievement or anything. And they did alright haha. I guess as fans you tend to be inwardly focused. And think it's all about the one you Stan. Adams not a superstar in US. But he's had moderate success, and some times that's better. That said I do hope he gets a big radio hit in the US with his next album. Because with a big radio hit, means high profile tv performances.

Perhaps it's all from perspective. Like saying Robbie Williams needs a break-through hit in the US. Adam has friends all over the world, seems to love visiting and performing all over the world, and exploring different avenues to express himself for our entertainment. He may be looking at the success of his friend Charl who is an award winning Broadway actor, but probably not known to the general pop market, as the goal. There was a while back when he said he might look at purchasing a home in London. I can see that happening.

I think I read that Runyon had added new asphalt trails, so I'm guessing he's there. Gotta burn off those sweet potatoes. It amazes me he can film from his phone while riding a bike....boy's got skillz. Not from Cali but my take on Runyon was that it is much more arid than this. Maybe in SAN Diego? Pretty ride where ever it is though

While you say that it's a combination of...a lot of luck...the right song... and timing...it also takes US radio playing him too. He can be played much more that what he is. Queen is irrelevant to this conversation. I am speaking of Adam and Adam only. Queen WAS recognized in their own country. Apples and oranges. It is wonderful that the world has embraced him. For sure. Not complaining about that at all. His global fans are amazing without question. Just would like to see his homeland give him their props too. I know US is not the only market. I am also fully aware that US is not the end all be all. I think that's what you were trying to say?? It just would be nice. And yes as a US fan, I guess you can say that I AM 'Inwardly focused". After all, it is US radio that I listen to. Not Europe, Asia, Oz or New Zealand radio. Of course it is about the "one I stand!" That's the whole point of being in Adam's fandom. Why would I be interested in what other artists do? Look, he lives reasonably well. He doesn't seem to be hurting for cash. That makes me very happy. He also seems happy too. All those things are what a fan would wish for the person they stan. To have his country embrace him more would be the icing on an already delicious cake. I hope it happens one day. I am going to hold onto hope that when American Idol reconstitutes itself, they will see the error of their folly (twice) and hire him as a judge. It would be perfect and what many have wanted to happen in the past. He could still do his many projects as JLo did. Adam, when he was being considered to be a judge, said that there are more than two days in a week. He knew he could still have his career and be a judge.

Agreed that it doesn't seem to be Runyon/LA. There's trees, it's by a highway, and kind of flat.

I wasent even directly mentioning you, I was speaking generally. My point was one person stanning. Does not account for the big picture. Great you listen to US Radio. I never said you couldn't. I was just saying Adams an international star. I used Queen as an example, as it's very relevant to Adam. The fact he collobarates with them. But they are an example of being huge, but not needing the states validation. I just think Adam has steady success. And while more Radio success in US be nice. Whether you stan someone or not, does not guarantee this. So I was just listing the positives. These days their are many artists and music on so many different platforms. People just filter it. So I am not saying you should stan anyone else. I'm just simply saying how hard it is to get a big radio hit in the US.

Well, that sounds good to me....lol. (You are really good at pinpointing places via Google Earth satellite views. I expect you to zero in on the exact location...lol)

The US is part of international no matter which way you slice it. That's why I say it is frustrating. Queen eventually DID succeed in US. It took time but it did happen eventually. They didn't NEED US either as Adam doesn't to be successful. As I said, it would just be nice. Being his homeland. I don't lose sleep over it as I'm sure Adam doesn't either. I don't really agree with you that it is hard to get a hit on US radio. Some artists get hit after hit with imo pure garbage. Talent and a good singing voice seem to not be a requirement. lol
