Wow, that Zodiac performance! (And Allan's pants, haha!) Everyone sounds great! I wonder how many gems are sitting out there that we don't know about yet? I absolutely loved the Zodiac and GNT era's. Adam was so out there and that's what drew me to him. I know he's changed it up a bit so he could go mainstream but my wish for the new year is a little throw back to the days of glitter.!!!! While watching some of the old videos I realized how special and brave Adam was and why I fell in love with him. I miss his rawness and over the top performances sometimes too. He was young taking incredible chances, trying to make it in the business. He's in his mid 30's now, a smart shrewd businessman, known for his stellar vocals and dramatic performances. He's grown. He's creating long term longevity. I am excited and thrilled to see what the future brings for him. I'm sure we will never be bored, whatever it is. And we will always have the old videos. he was young then, taking incredible chances

I am not much of a fan of the Zodiac era, too sleazy. Definition of sleazy...... dirty, vulgar, immoral, not socially acceptable. While that opinion is the minority here.... in the the real, mainstream world, it is not. Unfortunately it is the image many non fans still carry with them after all these years. Though most never saw the Zodiak stuff, they did see the cleansed Idol version and the AMAs. For many it was too much. Even though the term xenophobia was not known as widely then, it certainly existed. Sadly, it always will.....

I find it amazing that people who lived through the 60's hippie era, 70's and 80's too, should be scared of something different. I know, half the country didn't approve!

That all time chart we asked you to vote for earlier this week has stopped the voting time and has revealed who is on #1 this year. About 6,5 million people voted for it. From a country with just over 17 million people that's insane!
The #1 this year is back to what has been the most voted #1 in this list and is now #1 for the 14th time: Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen!
In about a week we'll know if Adam is in the chart. Let's hope enough also remembered him this time.

I wish and HOPE more of those "Adam in his early 20s" gems would surface! I LOVE EVERY single one: the Upright, the Zodiac, the Rabin memorial, etc...

I loved the zodiac era and the glam nation era but it suited someone(er Adam) in their 20's.He's a different out there in Queen .Im wondering what the new era will bring. I am having lots of feelings given the switch in the US and I believe Adam must have them too. Im curious how it will be channeled for this new era. I love each of Adam's eras because I just love HIM so much. But he has always been a risk-taker. He's not afraid to change. I think he and his label and writers will create music for him that is marketable yet true to who Adam is. He can sing anything, for sure. But the trick is to create songs that strike a chord with the public, make an impact, and find their way to the Billboard charts. GT cracked through that ceiling. I hope A4 will have songs that do it again, but even better.
