From Boy George about the BBCAwards: Hmm. Boy George is sounding a little like a grumpy old man. "Back in MY day....." etc. There are lots of great singers right now. The best ones don't always get the awards. (Ahem!) but there are plenty who do. BTW, it sounds like Adam and Robbie W. have connected again and their is a little buzz about them maybe performing together. Hope that buzz grows!

It's looking like 2017 will be another banner year for Adam with Queen, Max Martin and who knows who/what else. I hope that, at some point, he will be able to do a project with Nile Rodgers. Just saw this tweet, with a link to a Billboard article written by Nile: twitter.com/nilerodgers?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

Well I had an Adam moment today that I want to share. I was in my local WalMart when I suddenly heard that angelic voice we all LOVE. I stopped dead in my tracks and the man behind me ran into me! I explained that I just heard my favorite singer; got a weird look for that LOL. Any way it was Adam singing NCOE. I was shocked because I rarely, if ever, hear his music played in this area, southeast Texas, the redneck capitol of America!!! It's a great feeling, isn't it, when you are in a public place and all of a sudden you hear Adam's amazing voice playing through the music system!! You just have to stop in your tracks, smile from ear to ear, and listen!!

Ready to rock: Adam Lambert gave his suit a punky edge with its acid wash purple printSpeaking on the carpet about his close friend Brian May, who recently cancelled his solo tour due to 'persistent illness', the singer confirmed the iconic guitarist was getting back on track. He said: 'I spoke to him the other night and he's in great spirits. He's so excited for potentially doing more performances next year, I can't really say much more than that but he's in a really good place.' Not the only big British name Adam has mingled with however, he also gushed excitedly about recently meeting Robbie Williams - who has been calling the young rock singer 'beautiful' for years. The singer explained of their meeting in Australia: 'I had heard things about Robbie for years, about how amazing he was and how lovely he was.' 'We finally got a chance to meet and we instantly hit it off, he's such a cool guy. He was talking to me about his wife and child and I think we're gonna try and hang out in LA. I wanna meet his baby!' Having toured all over the world across the duration of the year, as well as making an appearance in Fox's Rocky Horror Picture Show, it is no wonder that the Indiana native is ready for some much-needed rest this Christmas."

My guesses on the BIG announcement. 1) Star Spangled Banner at Super Bowl 2) QAL at SB with Gaga And, OFC, he said more QAL coming too! OMG!!!What I love most about this is not whether it is likely or not, but that when you put your guesses out there, you are never afraid to swing for the fences. Please keep swinging. Patti's first 2017 mashed potatoes for the mother f-Ing WIN!

So he has plans to hang out w/ Robbie in LA. I wonder if that will be on a professional as well as personal level? Also....he was signed by that British modeling agency. I would expect he might have some project coming up this year with that maybe? Clothing ad perhaps? I would love to see him in some high end designer ad. Macy's was a good start. I hope he gets the opportunity to model the pricey labels he loves these days. (But preferably not the crazy shorts and knee sock style. haha)

Patti's first 2017 mashed potatoes for the mother f-Ing WIN! Star Spangled Banner at Superbowl would be lovely. He could sing for all who felt omitted at the inauguration. I'm not sure that the half-time show is meant to bring in a certain market-share. The people who go to SuperBowl go for the game and atmosphere and they are spending big money to do it. People who watch the SuperBowl on TV do it for the game, the advertisements created just for the occasion, which are often more entertaining than the game, the opportunity for sharing food better suited for a tailgate, but at home. The half-time show is going to stay on the television, no matter if the viewing audience has wandered off to the potato salad and ribs. Gaga had a very nice performance on XFactor UK, recently with a song from her new album, but I'm feeling SB was booked when they thought Joanna would blow up, which it didn't. I wish her well in putting together a show.
