I listened to Underneath today and couldn't stop crying...Living in North Carolina these days is just so hard to bare..... Sometimes it needs to get really dark before the dawn. North Carolina is due for a really bright morning.

This year I traveled with my sister to Berlin to see Adam in TOH Tour (and to see the city obviously - my sister's never been). It was one of my best moments. I prefer seeing Adam solo, but my best moment this year - not my best Adam moment, but my absolute best, and one of the top 10 moments of my life - was seeing QAL here in Israel. I guess seeing it at home is different than in foreign cities. But I won't nominate it as the best Adam moment of 2016, or his Berlin TOH concert, because these are just my personal experiences. I would love to nominate something from TOHT, not only because it was Adam's favorite experience from 2016, but because I think that was an amazing tour in all aspects - the art, lighting, staging, dancing, setlist, EVERYTHING, and topped with Adam's singing, showmanship and charisma. BUT, despite all that, I think I'll nominate (if it's still allowed to nominate) a moment that goes beyond entertainment - the moment when the most talented gay artist, standing in for an iconic gay artist, in front of an iconic rock band, sang for his gay brothers and sisters which were murdered a few hours before for being gay. I think this moment shows the extremities of today's world. And once you watch it, it's etched on you mind: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc-AmpIVJWMI know I always say this when this video comes up...... but I was there that night and, having seen WWTLF many times live - this time at the Isle of Wight was the best and most moving I have ever seen. There was something so dignified and heartfelt and real about Adam's performance of it. And the sound quality in the open air was wonderful - I think we all had goosebumps. So much symbolism in that poignant moment, as Katycake pointed out.

Good afternoon/evening to you all, I have to agree there were some great performances in 2016,but I too would have to pick W.W.T.L.F. At the I.O.W. Festival that was special. Sophie what a treat for you! Underneath and broken are real favourites of mine too I love Adams vocals on those songs very touching.

I loved that he dedicated it not only to those who lost their lives but to all who were victims of hate . These were my thoghts on hate the morning after the senseless killings Today our hearts are heavy Our souls can't take it no more For the darkness in humanity came knocking on our door. Our sanctuary fractured ...we searched for ...cause in vain, Our world quickly crumbled, and normal went insane. We'll grieve for the fallen and celebrate their lives But somewhere in tomorrow hate still grows and thrives. It's existence is ancient, it's blackened heart a twig, Rumors of its banishment, clearly just a myth. Love is it's enemy and tolerance it's shame, Ignorance it's mentor and death it's only fame. So we must stand against it...those like you and I Who embrace our diversity with honor and with pride. For hate is a liar it knows no hope or truth, And if it overcomes us what ever shall we do. Adam is a beacon for hope and strength to so many I can't wait to see what amazing things he had in store for 2017.

These three snowmen represent three Adam's eras, FYE, Trespassing and TOH. And the light in Adam's hand... Adam always brightens my day. I LOVE it!

The WWTLF at the Isle of Wight is right up there, of course. How could it not be? I also though Girl Crush with Leona Lewis was immensely fun and took him right into a different zone. I love Hot Patootie in RHPS. He just NAILED that two short minutes. I wish there was a Emmy category for cameos. He deserved one. But I guess my favorite moments were each time he launched into the Lay Me Down/Shady/Fever trilogy during TOH tour. My heart raced each time. I loved the dancing I couldn't wait to see that tall, sexy body move so smooth and sexy. Sheer joy!

What is Adam singing here? Am I missing something? Why is nobody talking about this. It is so ethereal and pure. PS: And add me to the list of people loving that WWTLF from Isle of Wright as the most outstanding and most worthy highlight for 2016.
