My goodness so young to die, rest in peace George Michael, God bless your soul! So very sorry to hear about the passing of George Michael. Even though I consider Adam's voice superior, I still consider George Michael an important influence to our generation, and I will miss his angelic voice. On another note, we were asked yesterday to talk about our important Christmas/Hanukkah traditions. My family is scattered all over the US, and we are not able to be together at Christmas time. We have a Jewish influence in our family, as well as a Catholic background. For the past 11 years our family has a tradition of donating to a charity as a group instead of exchanging gifts. We each nominate a charity and write a short proposal about the charity and why it is important to us as individuals. We then vote on these proposals, and the winning charity receives a donation of about $1,500. This donation is made in the memory of my parents, who are were an example of wonderful generosity to so many worthy causes. This definitely unites our family at this most important time of the year. Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah to those that celebrate, and so many thanks to Q3 for providing this wonderful Adam forum where we can share our love of this incredible man!!!

It seems like the best of the best have had it with this 2016 world and are heading for a better place this year. Adam matched George Michael more in looks than in song style or vocals, but in many ways George was another one of those who walked the walk that Adam is on. GM left his mark on the music world in his own unique way as pop artist and creator of dance music. And struggled to define himself both as public figure and as gay artist while doing so. With Freddie, and MJ, and Prince, and Bowie, and now GM gone, there is is such a huge void to fill and each artist in their own unique way is on a journey to take things forward from here. Adam included. Another beautiful voice has joined the angel choir. Bye-bye 2016, with heavy heart, and yet the strange feeling that 2016 has been a year of transition from a more innocent time before to an unknown that many of us welcome with weariness. Wishing us all first and foremost Peace on Earth. Freedom in every way and safety to all people and their families here and around the world.

Oh my! I just had a chance to pop in and saw the dreadful news about George Michael. He was so young.
I am still in shock and disbelief!
