Thanks grandduchess !!!! I was nervous there for a while....but the Tide Rolled ! Now that my game is done.....I think I'll halfway watch the Fiesta Bowl and I've bookmarked Katycake's playlist to take me to midnight...and into the new year.

I just got a book out of the library called "Shock and Awe, Glam Rock and Its Legacy, from the Seventies to the Twenty-First Century" by Simon Reynolds and published in 2016. The last chapter is called Aftershocks and Adam gets a nice mention on page 630.
June 2010. "Spinning off a pop career from being a popular and openly gay runner-up on American Idol, Adam Lambert kicks off his first major tour, titled 'Glam Nation'. His fans call themselves Glamberts. Later, Lambert fronts Queen and appears on Glee as Elliot 'Starchild' Gilbert. On shows like Glee and contests like The X Factor, pop history is being folded back into showbiz, the border between musical theatre and rock increasingly dissolved. All of it is there 'for your entertainment', as Lambert titles his debut album."
Be warned, it is a big book and has hardly any pictures!

Happy New Year, dear friends!Wishing you a joyful, peaceful and Adamful year! Sadly, didn't have a lot of free time last year to catch up with you and Adam here, hope for the better planning this year :D I didn't even write down my thoughts about Adam's Moscow concert :( though mainly it was because I feel a bit disappointed. Not with Adam, of course! With all the setting - I was told beforehand that the hall is very comfortable and the sound is amazing... It was so to some extent. Firstly, I've had to watch over two teenagers - my son and my niece, who were ve-ery excited. And secondly, we were closer to the upper part of the balcony and they didn't have two big screens by the stage and the lights were on - not too bright, but distracting nevertheless - all in all it didn't help to immerse into the atmosphere of the concert :-[ That to say I really hope that I will improve my work situation in the new year and will take my son and myself somewhere in Europe to listen to Adam
