Shouldn't the spelling be "Pharaoh"?? I don't trust Adam's spelling haha LOL. Remember how he used to spell "Whoa" as "Woah". I now type it as woah...to be cute. He has a thing for ending in "oah" it appears. haha....I don't remember the "Woah" but not surprised

Nadine ♐ citygirl36 55m55 minutes ago Aww flash of @adamlambert on ET tonight ❤ It was a segment on Blake Shelton and his hope to help the current The Voice winner become the shows first superstar. They mentioned, once again, how the show has failed to create superstars on the level of American Idol. Then showed Kelly, Carrie, JHud and Adam. It was a close up headshot from the GT video.

LOL.... absolutely no judgement from me. Super ninja work. Max has found a fabulous new home. Wonder if he swims? Several good choices of pools.. If he is half Basenji, he probably won't swim -- he'll demand a raft.

I know zero about basenjis....I'm a cat person....several interesting characteristics listed here. Don't know what influence the chihuahua mix would have. www.yourpurebredpuppy.com/reviews/basenjis.htmlThe AKC Standard says, "Elegant and graceful, his whole demeanor is one of poise and inquiring alertness." High-spirited and endlessly curious, the dapper, light-footed Basenji demands to be in on everything. Without enough physical and mental activity, he will become bored and then he may chew up your home or scale fences (sometimes trees) in search of a more interesting life. This dog is too busy and inquisitive to be left loose and unsupervised in your house or yard. Don't let him off the leash, for he is a swift, agile chaser who is impossible to catch. You must stay one step ahead of this thinking breed, for he uses his keen intelligence in clever, sometimes manipulative ways that suit his own purposes. Consistent leadership is a must. Basenjis are intriguing in that they are physically unable to bark. Yet their wariness of strangers, inherent distrust of anything new or different, territorial instincts, acute senses, and canny intuition all combine to make them vigilant watchdogs. And they do whine, growl, chortle, yodel, and scream, so they are far from soundless.

Aww Pharaoh is so cute. Actually, I think he is a handsome dog. He seems to fulfill every aspect that Adam wanted in a dog. Color, pricked up ears, fawn like. He even has his own built in eyeliner. lol
Lenny Kravitz has a dog too that he takes everywhere. The dog travels with him on private jets. Lucky dog. Maybe if Adam has a short trip somewhere, not big tour, he can take Pharaoh with him? You never know.
I don't think that Pharaoh will slow down Adam's work on new music. IMO, it might make him more creative and be in a more relaxed headspace. Adam is driven. A cute pup won't slow him down. Someone has to work and pay for the new doggie clothes. lol

The mascara around his eyes, the angle of the eyes, the ears, and even the bend in the paw are all distinctive of the breed. My experience with Basenji-mixes is that if they are half "regular" dog, they can bark, but they still can chortle and yodel like a Basenji. They also cry real tears. I believe it is the only dog breed that actually cries tears. They also clean themselves like a cat. They are very smart, but very, very strong willed. And if left alone with a sofa for 30 minutes, you probably will need a new sofa. My Basenji could climb trees and fences, escape from anything except a crate. And they are lure coursing sight hounds -- they love to chase thing and need to run. A very rewarding but very, very difficult breed.

I fostered a sight hound for quite awhile and it was a challenge. Good thing Adam has had dogs before as they are not for a novice. Hopefully, he'll make a great running companion.
