The body shape is different, but the lying down position is strikingly similar to Egyptian images, so the name Pharaoh certainly fits: You think that he means to spell it Pharoah? Or rather the normal Pharaoh? We shall see what the plan is once travel picks up again. Maybe in first class, a small dog like this can travel in cabin? But what about Australia, etc. where dogs go through lengthy quarantine times? Will he stay behind in California, maybe at Mom's house, or with Neil and Co or with friends in LA? Many options, but certainly a change for all involved. We just got a new dog last month at our home, also a mix, and she is such a joy to have. She is a rescue dog, and is doing well and we are so glad to have her. She changes everything in your house in the most wonderful way. Yeah, I am wondering why he spelled it wrong.

Well, honestly it looks like a mixed breed dog to me. It has the coat, eye and nose colouring and the ears of a pharoah hound, (Which he has mentioned wanting in the past) but the tail, body type and leg length are wrong. It appears to be an adult dog and not a pup, so likely a rescue dog.... which I love him for. Agree! Looks mixed and adult to me too. I am guessing a Chihuahua mix or a Basenji mix. Corgi / Basenji mix could work. The tail in the video is very corgi-ish. Or maybe a terrier breed (Decker Rat Terrier?) mixed in there. Cute dog whatever he may be.

I have a friend that has a Basenji. Don't know why I didn't consider that. Though they tend to be distinctly bi-coloured, have black noses and not caramel coloured and a much tighter curl up and over the back to their tails. The size, body type, ears and face (other than the nose colour) are very Besenji like. So..... still a mix of some kind for sure.

So who the heck is Andrea Stramaccioni? All I can find is an Italian football (soccer) coach who was fired from his position last fall...

It may be a case of Adam sucking at spelling, but maybe not. The great Triple Crown winning race horse, American Pharoah is spelled the same way. Though according to wiki the spelling of American Pharoah is a copy and paste error that was submitted as such and spotted too late to change. Now the miss-spelled name is part of history. LOL

It really looks like a part Basenji to me. I used to have one and did a lot with the breed. I loved this breed but as a pet, a Basenji mix is probably best.

ok dog lovers ...what type of dog is resting on Adam's hardwood floor!!!!! Very sweet picture! "Ginerish" coloring!!! I believe it is a designer dog. Some kind of basenji - X mix. Does not look like any AKC breed to me but clearly there is some hound breed involved and it looks to me like basenji.

Guess there will be no Top Earning Idols report anymore. Sad! I really wanted one more so we'd have the year with his TOH Tour on it! But cool that the last list had Adam at #1!
