ALFC is so confusing. I was attempting to see if my membership had expired. Of course it had. Forgot my password so I had to get another one, which was a hassle since the website kept going offline. Anyway, I finally managed to get to the "buy membership page" and noticed it listed an old credit card which I no longer use. I hit continue to see if the option was in another place and the sale went through. How on earth does the fan club make any money? I also received the presale code on my dashboard. Did you all get this? Is it a code with 10 characters off to the right, and clicking it brings you to the upcoming events page? Yes, a code with a link to the events page. Now I have to see if I remember my Ticketmaster password.

Today's news is wonderful! If Adam is moving in a more earthy, bluesy direction for A4, with more "real" instruments and less electronica, I will be thrilled. I like my Adam more natural in appearance and in sound. The thing about the dance pop he has been doing, is it does not challenge him sufficiently vocally. It does not require as much technique and diversity. It doesn't "show off" his remarkable skill, tone, control and flexibility. He sings it very well, for sure. But he can do so much more. Which is why the Queen news is also thrilling. Queen's catalog is diverse in genre, theme, and musicality. It requires great skill to perform as Adam sings it. It keeps him on his toes, keeps his voice in great shape without limiting it. It demands all his emotional depth, his theatricality, his technique, his range, his musical ability. It is true that with the voice, if you don't use it you lose it, to a certain degree. Performing Queen music has kept his voice in top form. IMO. Now to figure out which concert to go to. Oh Cassie, you just have to go to BOTH Nashville AND Chicago. You'll have so many friends going to Nashville and family in Chicago. And I bet you can carpool to Nashville.

My cousin in Chicago wants to go with me there, and I figure southeastern ATopians will be at Nashville en masse. A car pool sounds like a good idea. Anyone interested? PM me.

I wonder why no Madison Square Garden in NY or the Forum in LA this tour given that those places have such meaning to Brian? Guess they were already booked. They are playing more important venues in both markets. Hollywood Bowl is a big deal -- seats 17,500 and is a iconic venue. It was built for concert! In NYC, the #1 venue is now the Barkley Center -- it is new, has amazing lighting capability, in Brooklyn, etc. Barkley center is slightly smaller but has more better seats. Both were built for basketball -- and have "arena" acoustics -- good for Queen.

I've always thought Adam should include live instruments in his studio album. You can't capture Adams magic studio. So pleas about this. A4 sounds very promising.

Now I have to see if I remember my Ticketmaster password. OMG, I just tried to point to www.ticketmaster.com and I kept getting "Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server." Anyone else getting this? I've tried 3 different browsers on two different computers. Just googling it and it appears ticketmaster blocks IPs when they think you're hitting the server too much but I got it the first time I hit it on each computer. :( It says wait 24 hours. Getting worried now.
