Quick question.....would it be better to go directly to Ticketmaster and enter the fan codes or use the links on ALFC? I will be waiting on the TM site at 9:59 so that as soon as their clock hits 10:00, I am ready to go!

I just received the pre-sale code through the Queen news letter plus links to all the pre-sale sites! Yesterday my parents agreed to come with me on a trip to the US so I'll be going! Now I have to figure out which concerts I want to attend. My parents will accompany me to one, but they don't need any more concerts. I'm thinking of going at least to New York and Washington. Other options are Uncasville, Newark and Philadelphia. Also need to think about going for VIP or not. It's pretty expensive. Anyone have any info on the venues for these concerts? Which are nicer and such? Do we also have more info on the VIP prices already? Have been to both Verizon Center, Washington, as well as Wells Fargo Center, PHL, but only once each, so the acoustic experience is based on just that one time. Mine happened to be better at Verizon Center, but that does not say much. At Wells Fargo, I was seated in 104 area, if I recall right, and Verizon Center, I was pretty high up, somewhere, under the roof, on the side. It was fine, even though far away due to height. So, that part will all depend on where you sit, and if you go to VIP, I cannot tell you much about it. But what I can tell you, is that the surrounding experience could not be more different. Verizon Center is smack in the center of busy-town, the streets around it are a neon plastered mix of every eatery, shop, tourist trap or other locale you may need. There are quite a few hotels within walking district, but they cost you. Parking a car is almost impossible or at least VERY expensive in this area. PHL arena is at edge of town a few miles out of downtown, also with good metro access, but in the middle of nowhere. No shops, no restaurants (except one), its like a gigantic parking lot with 3-4 major event arenas/ stadiums out there. The metro line from the arena takes you straight into downtown, without transfers. We made use of that last time, and stayed downtown and ate there and then, as a group, took metro to arena and back. In group it was no problem and worked well, alone I would have not liked my surroundings, tbh. I am wondering if we have enough people going to the Philly AND Washington concert, that it makes sense to charter a bus, so we don't have to bring cars into Washington or individually use Amtrak, which would require a train trip the next morning, and means losing the whole day with the transfer into Washington. I will make a post in the member threads to see whether there is interest in that idea.

Out of these I've been to the Newark, NJ arena (for my very 1st Adam concert -the glorious 20 mins of the AI tour) and Uncasville, CT (for QAL). NJ is a typical around 18K sports arena where as CT is a much smaller (10K) place. The sound was great for me in CT and I felt close to the thrust although my seat was at the far corner. BUT : getting to NJ is very easy from Manhattan (Path train + 5 mins walk), where as CT is about 2-3 hours (drive/bus) - there is a Casino bus from Manhattan. Barclays Center (18K capacity) in Brooklyn is easily reached by subway, located in a very busy area. It is new (2012), so I hope the sound is OK...

Here we go again! Good luck everyone. I'm hoping for 5 good seats for the Seattle concert. My adamlambertfans.com membership is up to date - appreciate the reminder. So hopefully an email will arrive on time for the pre-sale. Your individual pre-sale code should already be on your dashboard. Don't believe separate emails will be sent. I'm going to Seattle as well. Hopefully the ordering will be quick because I have been ordered to get "great" seats (whatever that means) and then try for LA for myself. Stress is killing me. GOOD LUCK!

Well that is good to know....you feel being directly on Ticket Master is better ?? ....and you will still get VIP CHOICES. Do you thentype in that presale code? If you go through the fansite does it just tedirect you to ticketmaster....and then one is wasting precious time? I appreciate the insights from those who have done this more often than me!
