Hello friends who I have met on the east coast concert tours. i had the worst presale experience - trying for a group of 8 for DC and 2 for Barclay in Brooklyn, after about 50 or so robot challenges and over several hrs I eventually got DC tickets, only to have the AmEx credit card rejected- it seems like the Amex Costco card was changed to Visa card and so we missed that update and the card was invalid. Lost the tickets. tried to get an Amex card but it would not ship and be here before the regular sale. no one in the group has Amex. I was trying the Adam fan club as I had renewed that, but could not get good seats in the $175-250 range. Also, had looked at signing up for the Queen fan club on Sunday as I thought I read on here that it was free, but it said that they had so many requests to process the $40 or $50 that it might not happen before the presale. so I did not pursue. Any suggestions? anyone willing to send me a private message with the Queen password. help! and thanks. I worry about Friday as I have dental surgery and not sure I will be back by 10 to go that route. The Queen fanclub presale code and the Adam fanclub presale code access the same seats -- and what is left in Brooklyn is not great. If you do not like the quality of those seats, you may have to spend the money on VIP tickets -- no presale code required for these. The really good seats for this tour are really expensive. TicketMaster Brooklyn has the Buy on Map available so you can see what it available now in VIP and AMEX. The back sections of the floor are in AMEX Pre-Sale or will be available tomorrow. The close seats are all VIP or Platinum or on Resale sites (expensive). In DC, the fanclub presale tix left are not great. Queen code only is top level now. I did not check the ALF code. The map is open here. *** If you don't want expensive VIP tickets, you might want to wait for tomorrow's general sale.

Q3, I'm not sure that the Adam fanclub and the Queen fanclub codes access the same tickets. My experience buying tickets for San Jose was that after I bought 2 tickets with the adamfanclub code I kept getting the message that there were "no more tickets for this promotion." I still needed 2 more tickets so I tried at different times during the day and always got that message. Then I tried the queen fanclub code. It worked and I was able to get the 2 additional tickets I needed. I wasn't searching for the very top priced seats, though. However, Suzie12, you might as well give the Queen fanclub code a try, just in case ... peace&love

thanks for the response Q3, I seriously failed on my preparation and not checking ahead that the Amex card was still active. we'll see if my luck turns around. Group is willing to pay $200 a ticket but that's it.

Wow...QAL seems to promoting much more than their last NA tour. Just saw a full 15 second ad on tv in the Washington D.C. Area. The end of July seems so very far away. Check your DMs. I also have a Live Nation PW that starts tomorrow, if anyone is interested.

It seems like they're planning to do a couple more songs from News of the World beside WATC & WWRY, to celebrate it's 40th anniversary. So I listened to the album, and I bet if it's up to Adam, he'd choose Get Down Make Love, for the same reasons he chose Dragon Attack - it's funky and it's sexy. I also liked Spread Your Wings. On another topic - Adam said he's only been to the studio once. We know about that time - with the guys who wrote TOH and AH with him. But I wonder why he hasn't been working more, what's the hold up. We know he likes to keep busy. Does it mean that the Max Martin deal is no longer on the table? I had been wondering about that too. No trip to Sweden right about now, I have seen no sign of that. The fact that this is only his start of recording, made me think that same thing as well. So, question is, what does that mean? Musically, I think that MM and Co imo ruined TOH, but probably did the right thing with GhostTown to make it a hit. Otherwise I think they did an ok job with the album overall, but I am not convinced that it was better than the very special TSP, which is a big compliment to Adam in many ways, because that one he produced himself. What surprised me the most about the MM album was that it did not have a natural HIT on it, you know something with a huge hook, something just made for the radio market. GhostTown was an attention getter, but it was an unusual song, no hit guarantee, and luckily it somehow connected, especially with listeners in Europe. But I associated MM with big hits by the dozen, and so I thought that Adam would get at least one of those, to have a natural follow-up single to GhostTown. But that second blow away hit was not there, and I agree with those that made the decision to not promote TOH in a larger marketplace, because I don't think it would have worked. So, musically, I am not going to miss MM all that much, tbh. Marketing wise, it is of course a totally different story. The name MM comes with an open door at every radio station. Does Adam have strong enough name recognition to get that door opened, if he comes with some different producer name? What will be the promo budget? Does the same thing happen as it did at Sony, in that the second album is produced at lower cost, and in a good way with more input from Adam, but then when it comes to rolling the album out, it gets underappreciated and marketed at that lower level of support within the record label, and therefore reaches only the core fanbase and not too far beyond that. Or is WB able and willing to support the album throughout promotion cycle of at least two singles, and all will be fine? That is the big question.

Did he say he'd only been to the studio once, or did he say he just started his official writing sessions? We know he recorded in London. Max lives in LA and has a studio in LA. I never thought Adam would be going to Sweden for 7 weeks again like he did in 2014. I really think that was a "cleansing of the evil RCA spirits" and to get his creative juices flowing. Era 4 writing, recording, and rollout will probably be nothing like that.

I love his round breakfast area. How wonderful to be able to look out at that gorgeous backyard. Looks like the lite fixture which was moved over from the DR initially, has now been replaced. Also, love the light colored wood floors. https://www.instagram.com/p/BP-wUmBgn0q
