What the hell is wrong with this DJ???????? Hate this poll, like pulling off a scab! If they're looking to start a Freddie/Adam war again this is how you do it. They do want people to go to the concert, right?

Sigh. I guess any PR is good PR, but, it does get tedious. I checked the comments on their facebook.... I know, I know, I shouldn't. As expected, there is a lot of Freddie worship there. And the expected amount of FLD, but also very positive Adam comments. So, let me make my own FLD here, and then state my opinion, having only seen Freddie in a number of videos of live performances. The question was, "Who sounds best?" I actually listened to the two clips they included. (Which some of the commentators admit they didn't do, as it was not necessary to answer the question.) Voice quality, it has to be Adam, hands down. First, his tone is richer, rounder, more resonant, with more depth. Secondly, Adam's voice is more consistent in sound, pitch, support, and sustain, while Freddie pushes his voice until it actually cracks several times. Adam displays more control, and more range than Freddie. Freddie sounds more raw, more edgy, more risky, rougher, which may appeal to some rock aficionados, I guess. They could find Adam's voice too refined? I also want to say that (please don't stone me) Adam is a more interesting performer to watch than Freddie. Freddie spends much of his time at the piano, which shows his instrumental talent, but I find it boring to watch. There is little movement or engagement with the audience from the piano stool. When Freddie leaves the piano he does reach out to the audience with energy and force, but Adam seems to be..... more joyful. He beams as he leads the audience in singing. His face, his posture, his movements seem to say "Cool! Isn't this great? Isn't this fun?" And, of course, I don't think anyone would dispute the fact that Adam is classically better looking than Freddie, and more graceful and sensual in his movements. For me, given the overall package of voice, engagement, and looks, Adam takes it. But, of course, there is no competition. Freddie is gone, but his musical legacy live on in wonderful live performances with Adam.

Good morning. Cassie...I really love your comparison of Adam and Freddie. I agree totally. It is just a shame that the media has to start this Adam vs. Freddie (surprise! surprise! ) division stuff again. Unfortunately, I never got to see Freddie perform live but from the videos I have watched...I am sure he was magic on stage. But I have had the privilege of seeing Adam live with Queen and I KNOW he is Pure Magic!! I think we are all lucky to have QAL NOW sharing with us the enormous and wonderful catalog of their music in the spirit it was meant to be performed. Brian and Roger are having this amazing chance to, again, see their music come alive on stage for future generations to experience and appreciate....all because of one AFL!! They are FAMILY now and
