This guy is interviewing for US shows. So, all we know is that there will be no single before June. Did not expect that anyway. I still think there is a good chance August, Sept, Oct. could be perfect for new music promo! Fingers crossed! 😊

It is not what I was hoping for............so what happened to the new music?............. back on the shelf for now? I doubt It's on a shelf.. Adam said he is working on new songs... IMHO,he's never idle and he doesn't disappoint. He handles two careers at the same time .. pretty impressive..

Or maybe a single straight to streaming services the way of OneRepublic/Ryan Tedder as SS implied? Remember "Welcome To The Show"? Well I hope not. Adam needs radio play and promotion. Enough of these releases that excite fans but don't go anywhere. I loved "Welcome To The Show" but it did not move the needle.

Ryan's single got released pretty much the same way every single gets released. iTunes, Spotify, soon radio. The only thing he did differently is that it is a separate single that is not from his current album. And about WTTS. It is my opinion that WTTS was never intended to go to radio. I think it was released entirely for the 2 sports championship series that it was licensed for: March madness (college basketball) and the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Well, the interviewer may not ask Adam about his own new album, but that doesn't mean it isn't in the works. I realize the QAL tour is the big "Adam news" of the moment (and thank God for that!), but the promo for Album 4 and his first new single will come when WBR feels the time is right. As for the Spotify, streaming issue, I think it's just a matter of time when music will almost exclusively be accessed this way. It's a sign of the times. New technologies rule the music business. Singers will get their money in various ways. And releasing "singles only" may obliterate the whole album concept. Even the top-most singers release albums where only a few songs are heard on radio or elsewhere. The rest of the songs, though they may be good, are just hovering there but are never heard by other than the artists' major fans. Singles do make a lot of sense marketing-wise.

There are 2 prices for the QAL DVD. The lower price says "1 disc" and the $104 (free shipping for Prime) price says 2 discs. There is very little info and no reviews, so I took a chance on the 2 disc one, hoping that it has the CD.

Makes sense. Queen gives Adam a nice "security blanket" and a good amount of artistic freedom. The iron is hot now and every tour could be their last one. Adam will keep growing as a seasoned rock star and performer while likely being able to enjoy more liberties for his solo stuff.

So Adam is prioritizing Queen before his solo career? Not sure how to feel about that. Brian is in NYC. For what?
