I have one wish for the playlist. I want to hear Save Me live. and of course this one I had never heard Save Me before but fell in love with it. Also loved the outfit Adam wore on that one, lol. Didn't want to get my hopes up cause they did not do it much later. But I am going to throw my wish in for that also.

Looks like Adam will be in LA on June 11th to participate in the ResistMarch which replaces LA Pride parade. It really makes sense, to me, for them to rebearse here, in California. Maybe they are? I wondered about that possibility. It's only 3 weeks until the first show and the staging, crew, etc. will need to make the trip over before the last minute. Rehearse in Calif, then ship everything to AZ just prior.

Have to say, that RS mag has come a long way. I remember many years where they would not mention any AL tour in their magazine, not only did they not recommend it, they did not even list it, when they had one of these 100 hottest music acts of the season listings, and it should have been there based on numbers. But, wasn't it even the 2014 QAL tour that RS mag conveniently 'forgot'? I am trying to think back, but it may blend with one of the solo tours in my mind. Does anyone recall how they discussed the last QAL tour? However, it is nice to see that this time around there is no question. RS magazine has been mentioning the QAL tour on multiple occasions already, and always positively. Things are changing, and that means they are changing for Adam as well, and hopefully it will change attitudes when it comes to discussing his solo tours as well.

Thought Warren said somewhere, that he is heading to London soon to rehearse w Queen. So maybe the band rehearses in London first and then they do it w Adam in California. Does that make any sense? Anyway, if Adam participates the march in LA on the 11th of June, that leaves very little rehearsing time in London.

I seem to gravitate towards the videos that actually try to say something, and ALN video is really sharing something about the loneliness and absurdity of the entertainment industry, where an entertainer 'sells' happiness and seemingly nobody wants to know how the person performing there really feels or lives for that matter. Also, it presented that loneliness or desperation of those in the audience too. I thought it was well done.
To me, it was Adam sharing one side of what he is experiencing himself at times, but probably also encounters in many ways in the circles around him. And he tried to present that honestly, which totally came through in the video. This speaks to me.
I seem to be a tad less interested or knowledgeable when it comes to all that visual perfection than others here seem to be. I did not think there was anything wrong with that side of the video, and actually still don't understand it, after reading the comments here today. The video was meant to be realism, not styled to perfection. The dancing was purposely given this atmosphere of desperation. Las Vegas is in many places this way. The video surely represented what I saw out there.
I tend to be a bit more bored by the pure dance videos, like IIHY and also FYE.
Here is my overall ranking:
While I don't particularly like the song BTIKM, I certainly loooved the BTIKM video. That was a big surprise and twist on the song that I did not see coming and I loved it. So when it comes to ranking videos, this is at the top for me.
I also liked GT video, thought it has a beautiful artistic style, and obviously, I also love the song and think that they go together well. Admittedly, the interest comes more from the dichotomy of the song rather than the video, but it worked for me.
Behind that WWFM, NCOE and ALN form a next group of videos, all about similarly liked.
Then TFM.
Then FYE.
Last place IIHY.
We all seem to have our different preferences, it seems. I sure am most happy if Adam does exactly the video he wants to share or that most speaks to him, rather than some video that is just thrown out there to make a video. I still regret that we did not get videos for Trespassing, and Cuckoo.
One thing that I think Adam can now do in videos, that I think he could not in the past, is show a male - male love interest, especially if it is one relationship among many. A barrier that has come down and that Adam has helped to break. If he wants to show it, he can do it now. WWFM could now be filmed differently. And that was just 8 years ago.

But after being on this site from way before QAL started, I can definitely say two things: 1. Because of Talon, I have learned more about Queen than I ever would have, otherwise,-and it has enhanced my ability to enjoy and understand the music and the band members who created it, as well as my appreciation of the dire task Adam had to undertake in his role as frontman 2. Whenever I see any post from Talon, I find myself remembering back to the time when he attended a QAL concert and mentioned, in his recap, that he gave up his better seat to a friend who was hurting at the time. That is all I have to know about the man.... Perfect post; agree completely. Thanks Lorraine. And it goes without saying, thank you Talon.

Actually Rolling Stone has done a lot of coverage of QAL -- including several articles on the 2014 tour. Here's one: www.rollingstone.com/music/news/queen-and-adam-lambert-to-reunite-for-summer-tour-20140306They have not done as much coverage of Adam's solo tour but they have done more than most small and mid-sized venue tours have gotten.

TBH, I thought this N.A. Tour would be their last. The EU tour surprised me! Brian and Roger do not sound like they are close to being done. But when they are ready to stop, I think/hope they will do a big concert in the UK. That would be a fitting place to end it.

Interesting, GT is my least favorite. i am sure it cost plenty to have that director, Hype. If i saw one more minute of that one female dancer writhing around the floor in street clothes, i was going to scream. As far as I'm concerned, not enough Adam in that video. I really liked the NCOE video too. But my all time favorite is still FYE! I actually can't watch GT -- and I really like the song. I like all of the other video but FYE is my favorite Adam video -- by far. Probably my favorite -- if I stretch the definition of an Adam music video is from Glee -- youtu.be/XVu_W63ejD4
