Most Pop artists release a new album every 2 years. I would say that is the norm.

FYI I diddnt mean to disgrudge anyone talking about Sauli I guess I just don't get the fascination. Scroll is prob the best course of action.
And why are ppl stressing about Adams solo album? Adam has always balanced out Qal and Solo. I understand frustrations. But he has time off Sept-Nov. So I expect lead single around Sept. Enough time to promote it. Go on tour with Queen Nov-Dec. Time off. Then OZ/NZ tour Feb. Then Album release. Then unless he has no Queen. Most of the year to focus on solo. He may as well take advantage of Queen while the iron is hot. It won't last forever. And the amount of money he wel make off the tour. Well go towards a solo tour.

Are people thinking Adam is in trouble with his label? Why? And as long as Adam is still signed to a major label, he does not use his own money for a tour does he? I thought indie artists with no label support were the ones who had to pay their own way.

A lot of the money he made from the last Qal tour went towards his own solo tour. And no he's not in trouble with his label. Why would he be.

Did Adam say that in an interview? The reason I asked about any label problems was I thought some were hinting at that. Had nothing to do with you but I was hoping someone would shed some light if they were saying that.

I always thought that demos and the independent work Adam does with producers before he submits the album to the label was on him yes, but then the official production and a possible tour were on the lable and promoters. As I understand promoters have to guestemate if an act will sell out a certain arena or not and they pretty much take the risk?

So this would mean that the timing for his solo stuff was figured out to some extend by now and "baked in" his and Queen calendars. We don't know what's really happening with A4. I feel he is far from the promo mode and as I said earlier this kinda worries me...Fingers crossed for Aug - Oct single or at least some other hint that A4 is coming...

Since Feb.2011,I have been following Adam around the world. It is amazing what I have learned about people, countries, and music. That first tour he did must have been on a shoestring, but I loved it. Members of the audience would jump up and shout, "I love you" during a song and this happened in many countries and many languages.
The focus now of many is so narrow and they are bored. But broaden the horizon, around Adam, and life is exciting, interesting, amusing, and full of joy. Music to me is joy, pure joy. We need more of it. Adam is the center light, and a beautiful amazing bright light. Life on this planet at the moment is not alot of fun. I am going to focus on beauty, joy, and music, with the center being Adam standing tall, not perfect, but still an amazing human.

I must be a bad fan, I just accept what Adam chooses to do with his career because it's his choice and his life. I have the choice of moving on if I am uninterested. I am really only interested in the music, not his personal life. Scroll is my friend with the topics that don't interest me
