And the A/C went out at my office this morning and my DH decides to go to the store at 4 pm when the temp is at its peak. Just a bit on the warm side! But a real cool down for Friday - 113, and then higher again. I wonder if there is A/C in the tour trucks... they carry so much electronics and with the temps like that those metal containers would become real ovens in no time... so I am assuming they must be A/Ced, right? The trailers are not refrigerated nor do they need to be. Rewatch the video of the TTs from yesterday. Refridge units have the unit at the front (between trailer and tractor), these don't have that. The tractor of course has A/C for the drivers.

I just now saw a commercial for Logo's Trailblazer Honors, airing June 23 at 9 Eastern time. It said "With 2017 honorees Cyndi Lauper, Alvin Ailey, Cleve Jones, the creators of Will and Grace, and other pioneers of LGBTQ equality."
As the voiceover said "other pioneers" the visual was of ADAM in his gray suit dancing. He obviously is busy that night in Phoenix, but might he be featured in a pre-recorded segment?

Anyway, this is an experienced specialized company. I am sure they have encountered desert heat many times.

I know nothing about trucks so decided to ask here ...Is there a difference between refrigiration (which is NOT needed in this case) and A/C or some form of cooling inside the metal trailers? Cooling is definitely needed in transporting electronic equipment in those extremely high temps... I even checked the Truck-n-Roll site but found nothing... Having said all that - I am absolutely sure the tour is managed by very experienced pros and I have no worries AT ALL. Just curious I guess...like why not to learn about tractor/trailers while we are at it... learned about so many things here, including bull semen

OFC! Why would they not be air conditioned? And I'm sure an arena in Phoenix has quality AC. If anything it may get too cool in there. I remember when Adam played in Indio and it was darned hot outside. No problem in the casino venue. The only issue I could see arising is if folks have a long wait in line to get into the venue. I think I am glad I made this my 'Go Big" show, will have early entrance IF they ever send me the info via email Ice hockey is played in this arena. Maybe they can bring out the ice makers to really keep us cool.

Since she asked about the transported electronics & equipment, I believe she was asking about the trailer. Cabs have A/C, trailers that have conditioned air are called refrigerated or reefers for short. They have variable temperature settings as dependent on what they are hauling. And certainly, the trucking company knows what they are doing. It ain't their first rodeo.

The 2 second clip was from the 2015 awards show when he performed Ghost Town. So, I don't know if they were just showing brief clips of previous stars or what. Still nice to see even briefly on my TV.
