I kind of think Get Down Make Love is the Dragon Attack of this tour.

My personal little odyssey has come to shore, There's one thing I've really learned, watching from the stage. The performance depend upon YOU. Our idols come out ready to give us everything they have. But, they need the energy we provide to send them spinning upwards. Otherwise, it's just a perfectly executed play; dance. With the audience, it becomes an adventure; a foray into every aspect of emotion that every song longs to convey. What I think is blowing QAL away right now, is that the audience is bringing them to the level of performance only attained when the audience belongs and participates and, with abandon, gives their naked all - - -
Believe me, it's a beautiful thing! Great recap, Momtomany....love the details....so glad Adam greeted you.....so glad you liked Spike's knees. (I had wondered about the OnStage seating this time....not as 'obvious' as before in the videos.....now we know why). just before reading this, I had commented upstream about the difficult audience in Newcastle....and then you wrote about the importance of the audience in the bit I've bolded above. So right.....You and I were together in Newcastle and we could see clearly how the initial lack of response affected all the players on the stage.....and us! Seeing the response and the total exchange of joy in these latest US concerts is breathtakingly wonderful.

Hi all, I don't want to bring the mood down but I have had some bad news recently, My dog Uke is going to have his right front leg amputated, He has a osteo carcinoma. I beleve there is someone here who has a 3 legged dog and was hoping that person would send me a message as to how her dog managed when this happened. And Adam in Black Leather is my Jam Cookeejar, I am so sorry to hear about Uke. I am just now catching up with this thread, as I was driving to Denver yesterday in anticipation of my second show on the 6th in Denver (trying so very hard but not succeeding to keep my excitement under control, as I was so lucky to see the spectacular opening show in Phoenix!!!). As a veterinarian (veterinary pathologist, actually, as during vet school I became allergic to all animals, and after trying to work in a small animal practice, I then pursued a veterinary pathology degree to stay away from animal dander), I know of scores of dogs who have survived well as "tripods". Their ability to adapt is absolutely remarkable, whether they have lost a front or back leg. Osteosarcoma is a very common tumor, particularly in large breed dogs. I hope only the best for your precious Uke - our animals are definitely our "children". Hugs coming your way!

I know this is a lot to ask, as there are already so many wonderful pictures, videos, etc..., up, so if it is too much trouble or nobody saved it, I understand. I am looking for a "slowed down" clip that someone did where Adam gets Brian laughing, and you can almost read Brian's lips, and you can see those silvery curls whipping about slowly almost like he is advertising some kind of shampoo. To me, it is one of the best things that I have seen that seems to typifies their special relationship. I thought I had saved it, but evidently not. All I know is that it was fairly earlier to the beginning. Again, I don't want to ask too much of anyone, but if someone can point the way for me, I will be grateful. Seeing them in Denver in a couple of days and cannot wait! Hopefully, they will have at least some time for altitude adjustment because you never fully know who might be most prone to its effects. I live @1,500 feet higher than Denver, and my fifty-something best friend can stroll right off an airplane coming from a bit above sea level, drive up to my home, and be ready to go, even though she is not in particularly good health, while my 15 year old niece, who plays sports, surfs, etc... and is in robust health loses her breath for at least the first 2-3 days. Now, I sound like my mother.....I know this isn't their first rodeo. Back to listening to three of my new, to me, favorite Queen songs, though I'm thinking that if I want to breathe well enough to make it to Denver, I had better stop watching all those "Get Down, Make Love" videos from every performance over and over and....nah, not happening! Are you talking about the time when Brian was so engrossed in his solo in IWIA that he forgot that there was going to be a plume of smoke blasting out inches away from where he was standing? Adam realizes it and moves him back. I think Brian says "Good boy" and sorta hugs him. I am thinking that was LV? Cassie, I think it was some song like DSMN where it almost like they are playing some kind of game or competition with holding a word exactly at the same time as each other, and Brian loses. First, someoneone put it here on regular speed, and then, someone put it on a slowed down version. I just have pretty bad eye problems from a botched surgery; thus, I cannot review it all. But thank you for remembering that!
