Brian has a little evil streak ๐๐๐๐ Oh my yes...good on him... Was this reference to a recent article? Or past ones? Thx To a assy NYT s review from 2014 "With all its overdubbed guitars and vocals, Queen was very much a studio group. Onstage, augmented by keyboards (Spike Edney), drums (Rufus Tiger Taylor, Mr. Taylorโs son) and Neil Fairclough on bass, who replaced Queenโs longtime bassist John Deacon after he retired in 1997, there were some suspiciously perfect (probably canned) backup vocals filling out many choruses. But much of the separation between studio and stage was bridged by Mr. Mayโs live playing, aggressively changing from fingerpicking to power-chord riffs." www.nytimes.com/2014/07/19/arts/music/queen-adam-lambert-take-on-madison-square-garden.html

What does this even mean? What is the picture about and what does Brian mean and why does he have a little evil streak?

It's supposed to show them all singing FOR REAL? Exactly... The writer thought they were too perfect....and the guys retort was....that is because we practice/ rehearse. It is a pleasure to hear "in tune" artists. ๐ I just hope they actually forward it to the appropriate writer and the editor. ๐ Hate for the guy to miss this rendition ... ( tres snarky--haha)

Hate that Dr May felt the need to prove anything though.

Sure would be great if Gaiman acknowledged Adam as the inspiration for this character. The Eye of Horus is not just a coincidence. Adam had to be the reason for that idea. And if the character ever gets put on film, animated or live action, Adam HAS to be a part of it! This response is way late but I am just now catching up on this thread. Gaiman doesn't need to acknowledge anything as he was being ripped off. Gaiman's Sandman comics ran from 1989 to 1996 and this new character has nothing to do with Gaiman other than that they were ripping off one of Gaiman's characters without having gotten authorization. Someone posted a follow up article showing that the character was going to have to be reworked to remove references to Sandman because Gaiman knew nothing about it until the leak happened. So really what happened here was they ripped off a character idea from Gaiman and then it appears modeled the character's appearance on Adam Lambert.
