I saw the Joan Rivers story. Every day of her calendar was full every month.. she would do a show anywhere, even North Dakota, for a tiny audience ,to keep busy. She had to be ON constantly.. Show business is not for the weak hearted..

As I recall, Adam went into a serious funk/depression after the GNT. I would think that he might go thru some adrenaline withdrawal symptoms not that QAL is over. Relief and happiness to be back in his own home, but also some darkness not to get that rush almost every day. If I remember correctly, the GNT slump was due to Adam feeling he had been gone so long he felt disconnected from his friends, his city, & his life. I can recall an interview where he mentioned it. That tour was June to mid December. Over 100 dates! So crazy! I think the way QAL does "legs" with nice breaks in between, is a much better way. Yep. I remember that. I think it was 135 dates. It was also new to Adam. I'm sure it was a lot of pressure to headline a solo world tour, with responsibility for others, your first time out the gate. Then you have to come down to earth. According to Forbes he made 6mil on that first tour. Imagine coming back home to hang with the same friends you were with before you were famous and rich. Thankfully he adjusted just fine.

Just have to add one thing to all the "wrap-up" comments about the QAL tour. I read Brian's thank-you tweet to everyone, including the whole QAL team. But the best part was when he wrote, "And thanks to Adam, without whom..." And Brian left the sentence unfinished. It's a really powerful sentence. It says to me that Brian has no words for the gratitude he feels toward Adam for helping make QAL such a success. It's beyond just a thank-you. Those three dots that finish the sentence just say it all.
Here's to a restful three months before the next QAL segment takes off. I hope Pharaoh is excited to see Adam and that they settle in again to their own routine. AND, let's hope we hear about some NEW MUSIC! Been streaming TF whenever I can.

He said so much about Adam with so little. He has such deep gratitude for Adam that we will never even begin to comprehend. I've said many times over the past few years that Adam saved them in many ways, especially Brian. What a wonderful relationship they have and there's a vulnerability there that I can't explain. You just don't see that in celebrities all that often and it warms my ❤️.

What was so impressive with this US/Canada tour was their "music" has held up so well- over 40 years - and I think I like it even better now than back in the day.

Adam has helped to write a new and happy phase for Queen with Brian and Roger and for fans. It is a win win for all.

You described exactly what I feel those words meant!
