We're obviously in some serious withdrawal if we are analyzing a dog's expressions on a 6 second video clip.
My dogs joyously greet me at the door whenever I return from a trip out of town for days. They also joyously greet me whenever I return from a 30 minute trip to the grocery store. They also joyously greet me when I wake up every morning. Can't say that is true of all dogs of all breeds, but it has been the case with all of the 14 dogs I have had over the years.
However, not all like to have their picture taken. One actually runs away and hides whenever I try. Others are totally blase about it. Go figure.

Not being around the dog in person or knowing his prerescue background makes it impossible to say what might be going on in his mind, but Uncertain is how I read that look in the video. He has shown it before. It is like he is a bit afraid of someone with something in their hand. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ No way!!!!!!!!! That is how Pharoah always looks!! Quite content if you ask me. Dogs love you unconditionally and I'm sure the reunion was beautiful. Trying to read a dogs face is ridiculous , unless he was crying or barking not much else can be deduced. I've had dogs all my life and Pharoah looks wonderful to me, well taken care of by Eber I'm sure and well loved by Adam without a doubt! Yes to this! 👏

This has turned into Pharaoh day...lol....I'm thrilled that Adam shared his reunion pics with us. Anything beyond that is just opinions, speculations and projections. One thing we do know is that Pharaoh is well taken care of and loved by Adam and family....and he's a lucky pooch as a result.

Haven't had time to read the thread closely yet but I wonder if we are missing out on an important point in the 'what is Pharaoh feeling' discussion...... Adam is presenting his dog as Adam wants to present him! He is always editing his image, however subconsciously, simply by choosing what to make public. My dog is the most beautiful dog in the world ( ) but I still choose the 'best' pic to send out i.e. the view/ image of him that suits me. Pharoah might have been running round in demented circles of joy a few minutes earlier but I suspect Adam likes to present the cool, sphinx like haughty glam dog image..... and it's only a few seconds......(and Adam said 'spread your wings' Pharoah.....)

Since it's a slow news day.......wonder if Adam might be interested or considered for this new Fox show. www.billboard.com/articles/news/7896871/fox-american-idol-successor-the-four-singing-competition?utm_source=twitterBilled The Final Four in Israel, the format (from Armoza Formats and ITV Entertainment) offers its tweak on the traditional talent search by skipping to the finalists. Each week, the top four will sing against challengers to retain their slots on the show. A panel of music experts and personalities, which have yet to be cast, will choose the original finalists from auditions and, ultimately, help shepherd the winner's career. It had been in development at the network since earlier in the summer.

I like your thinking and would say the part I've bolded is evidenced by the name change. When the dog had a perfectly good name already, Max. But that didn't fit the image.

....and then there are "glam dogs" haha - I expect a certain amount of "sass" and "attitude" LOL! That describes my new puppy. "Sass and Attitude" Runneth Over!! She was perfectly happy and taking charge when we got back in town from our concert!
