PP? One you have to understand how much leverage a mega hit like Home buys you. And two, it is HAC. Give a week or two and see what happens. Ghost Town made #50 on HAC its first week! 2nd week was 39, 3rd week was 33. It moved pretty quickly. So far, outpacing PP & I would even say that GT was not your typical HAC song!

It does not take a lot to make me feel better. HA. I still get pissed with my station tho. They never played ALN. It is like pulling teeth to get them to play Adam. When they do it is too late to even matter. And it was not the DJ cause he said he liked Adam and spoke highly of him when he was allowed to play him. I stopped listening to them for almost 4mos. once when I was patiently waiting for Adam to reach 20 and to hear him played. But instead I heard Durbin who was not charting nearly as high. It was just too much to take.

The songs from his second album did not do so well. And yes, I know it is HAC but Adam stalls on HAC and CHR. In PP, favor he does get his songs released on alt or AA charts as well. And I'm hoping PP does well I was just thinking in frustration. My HAC station will only play Adam once he reaches top 20 and when the song is starting to decline on other stations because it took so long to move. Of course, they are already playing PP who is a 36. Hell they even played Cook the last time and he doesn't even have a label. Maybe this time Adam will try for more charts other than CHR/HAC. Fingers crossed. I know it makes no sense to worry before he even releases to radio, I just needed to get it off my chest, lol. I don't believe that any two Adam Lambert singles have behaved the same -- and they all had completely different paths. Other artists have more typical songs. Think about Adam's two big singles -- WWFM and GT. Could two songs be more different? The only commonality is they both incorporate an Adam Lambert vocal.

I know there are some here who didn't care for Adam's song "The Original High" but I can't tell you what the song does to me. I firmly believe that if it had half a chance on radio it would have flew up the charts. I remember watching it on GMA, everything about that performance was perfect from his looks, clothing and of course his voice, which is always spot on. The reason I'm saying this is there are songs that were played on radio that I went from really not liking to actually find myself humming them. (I don't listen to radio when I'm home, only at work because my co-worker is in earlier than me and she always has control of the radio). Anyway LOL I know music is subjective but again if it gets played every day on the radio, I truly believe this one would have been a hit. Just my opinion. Enjoy youtu.be/Y-niIupAOxkI adore TOH. I am less sure that it would have been a radio hit when it was released. The song is great, the performance is better, but the timing on that track was a bit off. And there is no sign from iTunes sales or from streaming data that this was a sleeper hit. The streaming data seems to indicate that GT was the "hit" from that album -- so seems like they picked the right lead single.

Hi --- Seeker of Powerful Strength here.
Actually, there's some truth in this game of names. Think I found a powerful strength. Think I found him in 2009. Cannot stop listening and watching 'One More Try' . . . can one memorize a song in one day? I lived my life with such blinders on. Until Adam. Now I know about Queen, Pop radio, Top 40, HAC, CHR, umbrellas, tea bags, LGBTQ rights, The Abbey, philanthropy, justice, fashion, frivolity . . . and then, 'One More Try'. What a splendid, heartbreaking song, George Michael! And Adam brought its message, its agony, home.
Yes. I used to wonder what it was about Adam that thrills me every time he opens his mouth in song. Is it the purity? The resonance and pitch? The perfect enunciation and phrasing?
Nope.
It's the feeling. He explores; he swims his way into the music; the lyrics; he nestles them into himself; he delicately devours them and lets them find their way into each sensory cell; and then he gives them back, anew; casts his voice and heart out as if he's yearning to reel in the sea of emotion in you and me - so we can be together on this searching 'ship of fools'; trying to find our way.
Since none can compare with Adam, it's okay if others do what they do, achieve whatever they're achieving. I only know my truth, and as long as I can hear that man laying out his soul in 'One More Try' I will look to the 'ecliptical' sky and be forever thankful, that like my friends on Adamtopia, that we have been changed and brought to a place of music, adventure, and excitement for the days to come. The journey may not be easy, but we will always have a voice, a song, a purity, a light.
