Why would you not certify once a record reaches that milestone. Seems a little shady to me and taking away a great accomplishment from the artist! I'm not liking the music business at all and it doesn't help an artist that's not mainstream! They keep pushing the same old people down our throats yet there are hundreds of artists that get little or no recognition! What a load of sh*t!!!!!!!!! Because every songwriter and producer on the track has to get a plaque! Expensive & ultimately, it was probably Adam's decision. I understand it is expensive to give everyone credit. But it would have looked great to have his first album certified platinum especially sense none of his others reached that mark. But there must be another reason other than expenses. He is more financially well-off than P2, Cook, McCrery, Hicks or some of the other non-idol acts who got certified. But I agree FYE must to platinum by now.

Again, OT. But related to the conversations about Adam being grounded, keeping old friends and family close. I admit to a certain amount of pity party interpretation, but also feel that the isolation, the adoration, the need to be loved ... I like Lady Gaga ok but I feel she has been less than supportive of Adam considering how many times he has congratulated her or just tweet about her in general. Never a thank you or even a word back. That performance where she was on stage with Adam she spent most of her time all over Brian and pretty much ignoring Adam until the runway. I feel she has a hard time sharing the stage. Maybe she didn't keep her early friendships close which it too bad because once you reach the heights she has you need those friends to keep it real. Sorry for being negative but I've felt this way for a long time and it just came to mind again after this post! Hope I'm wrong about her! I am on the bubble about her too! I really like some her earlier songs, but never fond of the always over the topness --her persona. I was disappointed with that collaboration. From my perspective in the end, Adam literally had to help her with the lyrics as she was so busy making a spectacle of herself bobbing around with the wig and vocally belting the melody?? (but not the words---not sure of the musical term). I would have thought if this was her big wish to sing with Queen, she would have learned the song. I thought her huge mask and collar thing at the EMA awards was totally disrespectful of the people who were there to enjoy the performances ...like BRIAN MAY and ROGER ---who unluckily, were behind her in the audience. Then her crawling on the runway almost made me throw up. But Adam with Brian and Roger stole the show anyway.

Thanks for bringing that about the music documentary over...I LOVE them!... also liked Katy Perrys part of me...there was a scene that really stuck withe me: She was under the stage, sobbing from her break-up and as soon as the the platform lifted her to the stage she put a smile on...INCREDIBLE! It was a bit of a shock to me because it just shows how hard/harsh show biz can be... When Pink recently started following Adam on Instagram I wondered, does she follow him on twitter and just missed Instagram later on? I just thought...come. ON. GRIL!!! She wrote his freaking first hit!!! I'm quite sure we might care more than Adam...or maybe he does care a little to, occasionally...whatever...just musing About that interview. Adam has always been open about having to be careful to not let the business side of the job take over the artistic side but has he been as blunt as in this interview we got yesterday calling it downright a piece of shit? Can someone fill me in real quick on Adams moving. He moved out of that studio apartment roach-castle or whatever sweet name Eber had for it after Idol into something he rented...and then he actually bought a house in 2014? ...why do I picture Leila driving when Adam tells that story about him and his parents in the car at 4 years old... aaawwww...he grew up with Danielle ...as I've been through some stuff myself I know how not only important but essential family and friends are and it just always makes me to see that for Adam, and I wish it for EVERYONE... I know, stupid me lol...

She always seemed to be putting on an act and never real. That is why it use to make me crazy when some tried to name Adam "Lord Gaga" when he first came on the scene. He was nothing like her. It didn't help, I guess, that he kept talking about her and Madonna endlessly. I was so happy when he moved past the diva worship. And yes, Adam, Brian and Roger stole the show at the EMA's. Iheart. And pretty much anyplace they performed no matter who was there. Also when he did Marry the Night on Glee and got such rave reviews and attention for his performance. He said in an interview that he hoped Gaga liked it but of course not a word from her.

Marionm Just an fyi I think Adam lived in the roach infested "apartment" after quitting college, and then went away on the cruise ship, Hair in Germany, etc. The studio apartment was seen on AI with Danielle playing keyboards behind Adam. Then he rented a home when he was dating Drake, which we saw a few images of...but more a furniture shot and a backyard, followed by that older nice home with the infinity pool that we saw images of through the gatherings with friends. It had a horrible driveway entrance,as does his latest home. Then he and Sauli went to an apt condo ..same building as Kelly Osbourne, Nancy Sinatra. And now his present home that he owns.
I am sure I will be corrected as I may have missed some housing moves that we saw mages of.

I admit to a certain amount of pity party interpretation, but also feel that the isolation, the adoration, the need to be loved and recognized, maybe some underlying problems, can all lead to the possibility of being lonely and sad in what seems to be a privileged position. Lady Gaga Teases Documentary on Instagram, Sobs About Being 'Alone' She would never be one to attempt to capitalize on whatever event, drama, or tragedy happened to be in the news at the moment...nope not at all. 🙄
