American Idol star Adam Lambert puts 3,800 square foot Hollywood Hills home, complete with TWO swimming pools, on the market for almost $4 millionAdam Lambert has put his sumptuous 3,800 square foot Hollywood Hills West home on the market.
The asking price for the house, which comes complete with got four bathrooms, three bedrooms and two reflective swimming pools and was first constructed in 1947, is $3.9 million, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The former American Idol runner-up, 35, looks set to make a tidy profit from the sale, with him originally purchasing the property for $2.9 million back in 2014.
Nestled by the swimming pools is a covered patio, and the outdoors also features a grassy tier big enough to hold furniture.
Pewter grey cushions line the seats shown on a long balcony, the railing of which is topped with a continuous planter that's lined with what appear to be saplings.
The outdoor section of the property - much of which is paved - also features a fire pit, as well as a spa that can hold ten people at once.
Inside the house, a spiral staircase is seen decorated with a white bust of a bearded man, and multiple pieces of art are hung in the hallway the steps lead down to.
The kitchen features stone-topped counters, as well as an island, plus wood-framed cabinets and what looks like a stainless steel fridge and a matching stove and sink.
The place has also got a sitting room with a TV and fireplace, and Adam's got a black leather couch and patterned rug in there, plus a camel-colored chair and ottoman.
Another sitting room - this one more spacious - is full of light, and at present there's a pair of curving couches flanking a small coffee table on a thick grey-streaked rug.
Glass doors open onto an upstairs room with patio furniture and one wall missing, offering a pleasant view of the homes dotted along a tree-speckled hillside nearby.
A bathroom features a stone-topped counter, as well as a tub with a wooden curving wall at the outside and a dark stone rim matching the floor and the shower's wall.
Among the amenities in this house, as the Los Angeles Times have pointed out, is a wine wall that's got temperature control and stretches from the ceiling to the floor.
There's also a gym and a screening room on the property, for which Keller Williams' Chris Jacobs and Jeff Yarbrough were the listing agents, according to the Multiple Listing Service as cited in the Los Angeles Times.
Adam, who's recently been on tour with the surviving members of Queen, told TooFab his new single Two Fux was released in June 'at the beginning of this tour as sort of a way to sort of celebrate being on tour with Queen.'
Calling the song 'inspired a lot by Freddie Mercury and kinda his spirit, his rockstar attitude,' he said it's part of a 'project' that's 'on the horizon, yet he ultimately chose to 'put it out early ahead of this tour with Queen and people are loving it.'
He told Time of the tour in February: 'A handful of the songs in the set are absolutely ridiculous - high camp. Because the audience already loves the song, I know I can push it as far as I want. It’s the most liberating thing.'
Pondered Adam: 'I wonder, whatever happened to watching an artist and having them make you laugh? Where is that in music? In the ‘70s and ‘80s, there was a lot of that. It was over the top. They weren’t taking themselves that seriously.'
