He took a photo with everyone & talked while he signed. He is so lovely. Stood in line for 4 hours! I would say about 400-500 people there?? In 2014, there were less than 100. I am so excited about the turn out! ā¤ļø Wonderful! He must have been pleased.

Someone in last night's thread asked if Dr May took pics with everyone. Yes, he did. There was a man there that took your camera and started snapping away. Not sure if he was with Brian or the store. Got to talk to Brian as he signed. It was quick. Not as fast as the TOH "photo op" but not as relaxed as the last Brian book signing I went to in 2014. That one had less than 100 people. The line was pretty much Queen fans. Mostly middle aged to older. Several families too with kids in Queen t-Shirts. Cute!! They started early because of the crowd, around 5:45. I finally got in close to 9. Bet he was signing until 10-10:30. The store ran out of books so the line was cut off about 80 people behind me.

Somehow I don't think that the increase in crowd size since 2014 is due to the great demand for the 3=D book. I think it is because of the world wide resurgence of Queen. Which is due to their new front man giving a second life to the band. IMO.

Which is due to their new front man giving a second life to the band. IMO. The last book was not about Queen, so that made a big difference. Also, this book signing had more publicity. Not sure if the last one had any. It certainly did not get a spot on the morning LA News station, like this did. Also, the tour just ended, so Queen is fresh in fans' minds. Had a young man in front of us in line. HUGE Brian May fan. But he did not go to either HB show "because of work." He saw Queen with Paul though & thought that was sufficient. We clued him in! LOL! Had a man behind us, diehard Queen fan since 76. He got to see Freddie live. He also could not go to HB because of timing. But instead, flew to Nashville to see the show. Love, loved, loved Adam! Thought he was the right combination of everything to make him the perfect frontman for them. Talked more than once about how humble Adam is. Oh! He loves Two Fux & we didn't even ask about that! Family behind his with a 12-ish year old boy. Loves Queen, loves Adam! Thinks Two Fux is the best song ever!
