At the bottom of the article about Keisha Renee complementing Adam....there is a link to an article on Melanie Martinez...who was also on The Voice. Since she opened for Adam in NZ and OZ for his TOH tour....I got to see her several times. IDT she has much radio presence, but seems to be relying on Youtube, etc. IDK about her streaming numbers...but her latest video has approx 7 million views on Youtube in 4 days. She has 55 million Youtube followers and 5 million IG followers. She's very visual....that's her thing. She made and directed 13 Music Videos off her Cry Baby debut album and the article said she was planning on making a full length movie from her new music. She calls her music Pop Surrealism. I find her interesting idolchatteryd.com/melanie-martinez-drops-another-mesmerizing-music-video/

I don't feel the doom and gloom. Look at the photos from France!! Does Adam Fucking Lambert look like he's unhappy? Uninspired? Languishing in the 'what might have been'? No! He's having a ball - in Ibiza and now France - and we're 'back home' thinking dire thoughts of a house for sale and no single yet. Good heavens! In just another month he'll be fronting the greatest rock band in the world as they sell out Europe! His voice hasn't escaped him! Even if ours is sounding a little hoarse. He is creating! He's been with inspiring writers! Why do you think he was included? Maybe this is a transition time; a change time; maybe the WBR label will see him differently . . . but not me! Something is on the horizon, and I haven't a clue. But, I 'trust a bitch' who says "I got this" . . . it's the same trust I give to my adult children. Adam, as well as my kids, know love. They know unconditional love. They feel the support of family and the family of friends who always remain near. They have grown up with laughter and trust. Their talents humble their parents. Their uniqueness and fearlessness brings hope. Adam will amaze and inspire and surprise. Look what he did on a parking lot stage with "One More Try" - He is my catalyst and will bring me joy no matter where he performs, and no matter how big the stage. Curtains may fall; there may be twists and turns and shock - but this is the stuff of an unpredictable, colorful, unfiltered, challenged life. I, for one, love the twist of the wind and the surprising storm. Totally agree with what you posted! AFL...."amaze and inspire and surprise".

To tag along with momtomany's thoughts on Adam (edit. Guess I took to long typing out my message...I used the same visual as Adamrocks....but it expresses what I think too) haha The sky is not falling in my Adam world. I may be eating my words later, but I see him as having a busy busy life and career opportunities at least until the spring of next year. Whatever tumbles down with WBR ...well ...for now I am putting aside speculation and will wait until the reality of the changes are known. Regarding the matthewrad....posting of Adam "in painting mode". Adam is painting the nails of a guy who is in the thick of things. He ---has a Keith Urban song coming out in 2018 ( if I interpret his instagram correctly) He ---has just been involved with Light's album. www.instagram.com/matthewrad/I said it a few days ago...this is an Opportunity. He is learning/making connections/making friends/etc etc etc.. He was either asked to attend or he asked to attend. Either way, he got to attend. He is not collecting dust on a shelf. He is actively growing in his career.

Meanwhile, there is this little joke in the news: www.yahoo.com/entertainment/luke-bryan-play-great-hillbilly-184600084.htmlThe third seat is still open, and TV auditions are set to start next week. Yup. Next week. Did we ever in the past think that Fox mis-managed the franchise? In case I said that, I am taking all that back, in view of the present executive brilliance that seems to be unfolding before our eyes. Have we got a betting pool for whether this will be cancelled before it ever airs? All I can say is, what kind of toxic force-field does Adam have surrounding him that keeps AI from considering him as a judge? He was back on the show every year since his own year, the only AI alum to do that. He was its first alum-mentor. He guest-judged. He is a true AI success story. He did a spectacular job in OZ as the XF judge. What is it that keeps him from being chosen? If it's that he is not at the top of the charts all the time, I guess their criteria is pretty narrow. He'd make a great judge. They have one more judge to choose. I'd only watch if he was on. Adam. Adam I'm sure has been offered the job, but either scheduling issues. Or Adam I believe has always turned them down. I don't think it hasn't anything to do with his perceived lack of commercial success. I just think logistically it won't suit Adam. Im not sur where this doom and gloom is coming from. But I guess this always happens between hiatuses. And essentially it's been two years since his last major release. So I get it. But the guy has just come off a continued collaboration with Queen. In which he has revitalised the biggest rock n roll band of all time. I'm sure when he's ready he we'll release new music. I'm not concerned. I trust a bitch.

But they have Katy for pop and Luke for country. And there was an article the other day that said Freemantle wanted Charlie Pugh for the third seat but ABC wanted a person of color and not an all white panel. Who will win that fight? So either way there seems to be no spot for Adam. Even when they were toying with the idea of 4 judges (seems they have ruled that out now) my guess is it would be Pugh and a person of color. So I have given up on him judging tho I would have loved it for him because he seemed to want it. Can't say I have much interest in watching Idol now. But looking forward to Queen and his new music.

I got into this RCA/WBR etc., conversation a little late today so I'm pretty confused. I'm just getting that there is a shakeup in management, philosophy, direction. At least it's not "Adam-only." I'm trying to remain calm and optimistic about what happens to him and his new music in the coming months. As Adam says, the music business is really messed up. Hope he comes through this all ok. The concern is just that the man that was head of RCA when Adam left is now becoming head of WBR! Perhaps more important to Adam -- is Max Lousada, who will be CEO of recorded music for Warner Music Group, starting Oct. 1. He was promoted from Warner Music UK. I know almost nothing about him. If Corson lands at Warner Bros., the Seattle native would move to Los Angeles and report to Max Lousada, the soon-to-be CEO of recorded music for Warner Music Group, who officially takes over Oct. 1. The role of president of WBR has been empty since Dan McCarroll departed in July. WMG has also approached Interscope’s A&R Aaron Bay-Schuck about another potential role, sources tell Billboard. Link: www.billboard.com/articles/business/7980689/rca-tom-corson-warner-bros-records-wmg-ceo-cameron-strang
If Billboard is right, Corson will have a similar job with WB -- COO, not label head. Tom Corson was important at RCA (President and COO) but it is not clear who was involved in the "creative differences" Adam had with RCA -- seems unlikely to me it was Tom Corson but I am just speculating. It could have been Peter Edge who was and remains CEO of RCA Records. Or it could have been just the numbers on Trespassing which were probably not so great. Note: I have been working all day so I have no idea if that Billboard article is not accurate, but part of it is announced already.

I wonder if Adam had knowledge that there could be a shake up coming? Could be one of the reasons he said he would release new music when the time is right. Taking a wait and see attitude, not wanting to release another album that might not be supported by the label. This could also have something to with him putting his house on the market? Not that he can't afford to stay there but more about being ready to relocate if he thought it was necessary.Anything is possible, but I think Adam selling the house may have more to do with him seeking a more dog friendly place and more privacy. He might consider looking at a second residence elsewhere, away from Hollywood.
