The recent chain of events, plus Pattihum’s info about the change of management in Warner, got me to thinking, maybe the new management re-evaluates all the artists and want to make its own decisions what to do with them, rather than roll along with the old management’s decisions. Perhaps Adam’s music is on hold, until the new management decides what they want to do and how they want to do it. Otherwise I cannot explain such strange chain of events, where Adam says the new music is coming, then suddenly goes back into writing mode, without providing any explanation to what is happening. He probably can’t provide an explanation until he knows himself. Anybody knows if any other Warner artists are stuck in “limbo” for the last couple of months? If they are, that could be evidence that this theory is right. And vice versa, if it’s business as usual for the other artists. I know nothing about Warner's management or how the change is impacting artists. However, I do have a son in the music biz - same age as Adam, part of an indie/small label band, has put out 6 albums. Delays happen quite frequently in putting out new albums. One time one of my son's albums was completed, mastered, and completely ready to go, but the label had them wait 6 months. This was based on knowing when other releases from better known artists were scheduled. They tried to find a time when my son's band would not just get lost in all the fuss over some bigger names. Besides getting played more, the better known artists are interviewed more when they drop new music. Of course, interviewers want the clicks and viewership that come from having a column about a well-known star. So timing even affects how many interviews a band or artist gets when they have a new album. In this instance the delay helped them be #70 on the Billboard 200 for a week. They got tons of interviews, played on late night tv again, and had a lot of people come out for the tours. I can imagine that some of the delay in putting out Adam's new music was from trying to work around the release of Taylor Swift's album. A big release like that sucks up an overwhelming amount of attention in the music world. The management changes, no doubt, are also contributing to delays. peace&love

Gelly @14gelly From @adamlambert snapchat "Good morning" I wouldn't mind at all if Adam went back to his roots.

I mean, Adam isn't new at this, and he wouldn't have said anything if there was nothing certain yet.

Album/single delays happen sometime. Unless you are an Indie artist all the release times are not in your hands. Now that we know that Warner has been without a label head for months, it makes sense that there was no movement. Besides, who wants to release in the middle of the Taylor Swift and Sam Smith and Kelly Clarkson madness? Adam needs some radio play in the US so if waiting a bit gives him a better chance then good for him to wait. He needs to do what is best for himself and not just work to our timetable or even his previous timetable if it is no longer workable. I really hope we get some edgy and meaningful tunes released. Too much of his great work has gone unheard by the masses. He had a great time in Spain, France and Greece so I'm hopeful that he feels great and is ready to hit and focus on the the work button again.

I'm not Marion, obviously but surely based on what you say above, Underground is more fitting than Underneath? When you're gone, when you're gone It's like I'm in one second in time, I'm frozen When you're gone, when you're gone It's like I lost one half of my mind, stolen 'Cause nobody feels you like I do Nobody kills me like you do Nothing I take can ever cut through I'm in trouble I look at myself and I don't know How I'm stuck to ya like velcro Can't rip you off and go solo I'm in trouble I just pulled out the song lyric booklets from past albums and found this on the dedication page for TP... "Sauli: My best friend, my light, my love. You've brought so much affection, joy, and balance to my life. Your passion and realness bring out my best even in the midst of creative chaos. Sudella!!" (that must be a Finnish word) ... ILHSFM "Suudella" means to kiss. Adam misspelled it on the leaflet, but it's still understandable. ❤️

I did mean underground...because of the dangerous part
Wow, I don't think I've seen that interview, but I've heard the story about broken open... There are too many favorites for me to choose one...
