It truly is heartbreaking ... their home was beautiful, as was the family they created there. It's hard to imagine it gone! I've been following the evacuation and fire maps, and they appeared to be barely outside the fire area, but I know those things can change quickly. I don't think there is anything we can do ... they have both friends and family offering to help ...

Please, please let her know we're thinking of her...and crying for her.

My heart aches and cries for Momtomany. She is such a beautiful spirit with such a kind and given soul. I feel so devastated and helpless with this news. I wish there was something I could do to help her. Words are hard to find at this moment. We love you Momtomany and are here for you.

So sad for Momtomany. But glad they are safe and have family and friends to lean on.

It is with tears and a sad heart I pass on this message from Momtomany: "Gone ... Our family home will now live on in the giving and generous hearts it helped create." Oh No!! That is so sad! I think they lived there for many years and it has to be heartbreaking for them!! I wish there was something we could do to help!!

Oh, Momtomany, I feel heartbroken for you. I am lost here. I can only grieve with you at this point. I wish I had something to write that would take your sadness away. You are the last person I want to see hurt in any way. I am so sorry. I am glad, however, that you were able to evacuate and you live. Life will get good again. For some reason we have to live with the sorrow and the beauty at the same time. Life can be a real bitch.

Oh no. I wish there was something we all could do, and please let us know if there is. Meanwhile sending you strength, and courage and hope, and all things good to you and your family and all those who are hurt by these events. Hugs...

I am so sorry, Momtomany, for what you are going through. As someone whose house burned six years ago this upcoming November 17 (internally -- the brick exterior remained but most of its contents were destroyed all the way down past the studs), I can empathize with your loss. I am so glad for you, though, that what matters most--the safety of those you love--was secured with your prudent exodus from danger. It may not seem possible now with the loss so fresh, but the love of your family and friends will make the rebuilding of this part of your life speedier than you can imagine.
