Q3, sorry about your Cleveland Indians. I was certainly rooting for them, because as a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan, I've never liked the Yankees - they went to the World Series just too many times, especially back in the 60's. Something like my feeling for The Ohio State (sorry here if you're a fan) and the University of Michigan because I'm a Michigan State Spartan after spending nearly nine years at Michigan State. Lorraine, Kirk Gibson was also a very special player for the Detroit Tigers. His home run in the 8th inning of Game 5 in the World Series in 1984, which won the game and the World Series for us, was also a tremendous moment! I also remember that special homer in 1988 - he certainly made history in his post season games. As far as the Cubbies vs the Dodgers this year - who knows who will make it to the World Series? Even though I'm an American League fan, I'll be rooting for the National League this year. To bring all this baseball talk back to Adam - he doesn't like sports and this all would be Greek to him too!! animaldoc--I'm impressed with your baseball knowledge--You really know the game,and yes, I knew about Gibson's history with your Tigers.I think that 1984 HR for them, factored into Lasorda calling him up in the 9th inning ,which resulted in that legendary home run for the Dodgers in 1988. All my brothers are Yankee fans and I can't even describe the battles we had growing up---but that's another whole story! Q3, I'm sorry about your Indians too. I have been complaining about the WILD CARD implementation for years---even though I know WHY it was done. I think, with 102 wins, the Indians should be in the World Series against my Dodgers who had 104 wins this year. They are the teams who should be competing for the title IMHO. Bring back the purity of the game!!!! But of course that will never happen... Sophie----I see you have yet another thing in common with Adam!! Hee Hee {although if I had a chance to catch up with him after the runway show last night, I bet even HE would have had some inkling about what happened over in Chavez Ravine. The noise decibel coming out of Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles last night reached the stratosphere!!!!!}

Animaldoc. I like you went to Michigan State and spent many family outings at Tiger stadium. My dad taught me how to keep a scorecard. I have an understanding of and played most sports due to his tutelage. (Croquet,horseshoes, tennis bowling, flag football,girls basketball when there were still roving guards and forwards, hockey, etc. Every time I watch sports on TV or attend a sporting event, he is a warm memory in my mindseye. Every time I threw somebody out from 3rd to first, he cheered. In those days pre-title 9, we had small towns playing each other for bragging rights. I have the At Bat app so I can listen to Tiger games wherever they play. I have become a Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins fan, but I'm forever a Detroit sports fan! I'm not going to try to relate this to Adam, except that I relish the fan-friends i e met due to him. I've been away from the computer most of today, and just saw your comments. Hopefully next year the Tigers (or Tigs, as my dad used to lovingly call them) can have a better season! Losing Verlander to Houston was a real blow. I believe I met you and Babs 12 at the 2nd QAL concert in Las Vegas back in 2014. It's so nice to know a fellow Spartan who also just happens to be a very avid Adam fan as well, and has deep roots in Michigan, even though we no longer live there. Yes, I also relish the fan-friends I have met in person and on this wonderful forum because of Adam! I loved your comments about you and your dad with sports - sounds like we were both so fortunate to have wonderful dads (mine also taught me how to keep a scorecard). I too have warm memories of my dad when I'm watching sports or attending a sporting event - he lives on.

I'm impressed with your baseball knowledge as well, and I didn't know about Lasorda calling Kirk in the 9th inning back in '84. Fortunately, I don't have family members who are Yankee fans, but the University of Michigan vs Michigan State rivalry makes up for it, as I have some Wolverine cousins as well as Spartan cousins, and one of my brother-in-laws is a Wolverine. I too agree about the WILD CARD thing - it definitely should have been the Dodgers vs the Indians in the World Series! They both had just incredible seasons. And Sophie and all others who aren't in the US or don't give a flip about baseball, we apologize (as they say, scrolling can be your friend). Q3 started all this by having a "post something good day" - when we do go off topic a bit, we often find out things about our fellow Adamtopians that we didn't know, which is a good thing. Shows that we are enthusiastic fans in many ways! Loved you comment about the noise decibel coming out of Dodger Stadium last night should have given Adam just an inkling of what had happened!

In case I wasn't clear, Lasorda made that decision to bring the limping Gibson into the game in 1988.

Really want to refrain from talking politics here. But as Adam brought it up. Why did you guys vote in a reality tv star as your president lol? Sorry I know its not funny, but yeah. Hillary would of been a good president. As for Roger. Well he did say he is working on a New album in Nashville during the QAL America Tour. And Adam is singing on it. Why would he need to say Adam is singing on it, if it was Adams stuff? I mean woulden't that go without saying, if he was referring to his solo work? I don't know. Not certain what he meant. But I would love a QAL Album. IF it is under that umbrella. A new Queen album would not work without Freddie of course. But an Album under the Queen + Adam Lambert brand, I Think could work. Of Course Adam would kill a new Queen album, with 70s-80s influences. No, it's not funny. Someone like you who doesn't live in the US probably can't grasp how severely divided this country already is over our leadership, and how heartbreaking the current situation is for many. Let me start with health care and equality, and continue with gun control and security, and the list goes on... A majority of the population actually deemed Hillary to be the better president, but that didn't help in the end due to the electoral votes. Very complicated actually, but worth learning about. I am trying to not voice an opinion, but these are the facts.

I share Adam's grief and frustration and outrage with what is going on in the USA today. My daughters and I were gutted with the outcome of the election, because we dreaded what would follow. There I Said It.
