Luke Easton twitted: So true!!!!!!! Luke Easton 3ku1 45s45 seconds agoHow @adamlambert has revitalised the most iconic rock n roll band of all time @queenwillrock should be celebrated. Lambert deserves award recognition for it. Their is not an artist alive today who touch him. He's a throwback to the MJs, Georges, Eltons, Freddies e.t.c.
"Lambert deserves award recognition for it." Those exact words have been in my mind and have come out of my mouth so often since QAL began. Adam is simply doing what NO ONE else could possibly do. When I see other artists who win big awards and don't possess a fraction of Adam's talent, it does get quite frustrating after a while. "There is not an artist alive today who can touch him." There HAS to be some kind of awakening among "award-givers" in the music industry that gives Adam the recognition he deserves for doing such a rare thing: Bringing a classic band that considered itself "over" back to its status as a world-wide, arena-filling phenomenon. Adam has done this, pure and simple. I can't think of a comparable example to compare it to. These performances are beyond belief.

What Adam has achieved over the past five years - due to his talent, insight, artistic sensibilities, charisma - is pretty much the impossible. One could argue that the worldwide success (...and the decent earnings from it) are recognition enough, but I agree that it would be nice to see him in a position to get applauded and officially awarded by industry peers.
