IDK if I would want to be in a concert where the audience was louder than Adam! I think it would be quite the experience for both audience and the band but I also think that it might be difficult for Adam because he doesn't like to go at exactly the same tempo as the original so he could be torn between keeping up with the audience or doing his own thing and creating those extra spaces.

I think it would be quite the experience for both audience and the band but I also think that it might be difficult for Adam because he doesn't like to go at exactly the same tempo as the original so he could be torn between keeping up with the audience or doing his own thing and creating those extra spaces. I think audiences in different countries are very different. Queen (and Adam) had their loudest audiences in South America and I think also in the Northern part of England and Scotland. People there love to sing and they do it really loud! Adam explained his different impressions in an interview once. If I remember it correctly, he also mentioned, that Asian audiences are mostly calmer (not in a negative way, they do love it and show their love differently). The Australians aren’t much louder. For me as a German it was interesting that he mentioned that he loves our audiences, because they are usually very attentive. Meaning we can get loud, but also very quiet. And barely anybody leaves his seat during a concert. It’s not common to go and get drinks, while the concert is still on. Even during Brian’s guitar-Solo, I didn’t see anybody leaving- neither in Berlin(2015), nor in Munich. My most treasured memory of my first QAL-concert in Berlin was, when Adam started to sing „Save me“. It was so beautiful and everybody fell silent. I was able to hear the airconditioning!! When I saw videos of „Save me“ at the South American Tour, it was completely different, because it seemed that everybody in the audience just sang along loud and to me it destroyed that beautiful song. I don’t know how the band felt about that, but my personal opinion is that that’s the reason „Save me“ was dropped in that tour. I don’t think that singing along loudly is bad! I love when people do that. And it’s also a reason why I decided to fly to London and attend a QAL-concert in England. I guess the audience will be different from a German one. Only if it is,that singing along surely is easier, because everybody knows the lyrics and can speak it’s language. But in comparison to the Prague audiences I have to say that Munich was louder! So we ain‘t not that bad!

So.....would you face that in toward the tub or out towards the toilet? That's the dilemma, of course! I think I'd wind up using it both ways, the shower being the second way. I think my DH would think I had really gone off the deep end if we had that curtain hanging in our bathroom. But he'd be a good sport about it.
