I also want to thank adamrocks and skaschep and the others who are kind enough to take the extra time to post photos in a way that those of us who like to save them can. With regular Instagram photos, this isn't possible...at least for me. So thank you to everyone! Yes! This! I must say thank you as well. Every once in awhile the instagram photo isn't posted in a way that makes saving it possible and when that happens I'm disappointed. We're spoiled here on Adamtopia in the most wonderful way. Thank you to everyone who contribute here. Sorry, but when I post instagrams, I don't know how to post the photo in a way that it can be saved, and sometimes a quick post of an instagram that I see hasn't been posted, is the time I have at the moment. I think skaschep usually quotes those instagrams, then posts the photo to save, so that duplicates my original instagram post.. Maybe the way to get around that kind of duplication, is just to post the photo to save without quoting the original instagram again..? Or I will leave the posting of instagrams to the people who can post photos that can be saved. I don't save photos, so I can relate to those who get tired of the repetitive photos. Unless I'm remembering incorrectly, I don't recall this happening much before, or I just notice it more now..

Don't know how to post pictures to save either (would be open to learning ) I try to reference pictures, or posts in general, if wanted tag a person to address them directly, to avoid repetition.

What I do when I post the IG pictures is that I go to the direct link which is posted here or maybe on twitter. I use Chrome for this by the way. Then I do a right mouse click on the page and I go to Page Source (not really sure how it's called in English as I have the Dutch version). For Brian's IG pic from last night this is the source link: "view-source:htt ps://www.instagram.com/p/BbXzER_DwKp/" (without the space). Then I find the url of the picture. The main picture is always posted like this: <meta property="og:image" content="https://scontent-amt2-1.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e35/23421212_319006408582780_2022994390292627456_n.jpg" /> When it's a video the link for the video is in the section below that. If you have IG posts with multiple pictures that becomes a little harder as the url's are further up the code and a bit hidden away. Plus then it's not always clear which url belongs to which pic. It's a bit of trial and error. I really hate those as it takes so much time to get them all. That I quote pi 's posts as well is because I want to keep the pic I post with the source. I always like to go to the source of the pic to get the best pic and also give credits to that source. I have noticed that when people post the 3 pics with the twitter post of the people who find it with them they often post the pic from the twitter as the save pic. Twitter however lowers the quality of the pic sometimes so I prefer to take the url right from the IG. The people who post the IG's on twitter used to also post that pic url with the pictures they posted but they often don't do that now. That's a bit annoying as we now have to do all the work again what they already did. I hope they'll try to do that again. For IG stories it's a bit different as the original pic/video will disapear after a while. Therefore it's better to post the twitter with it as that one will keep the picture or video in it as most of the people who post those have reuploaded them.

I've tried but can't bring over DLable IG pics...nevermind the IG stories. I've searched "inspect element" and "source" and can't find the URL, etc. Most of the time adamrocks or Simone or wal will see the same pics and bring them over if they're online. I'll try and refrain from bringing too much stuff over from Twitter or IG. I try to go back and delete mine if I see somebody has already posted it prior. If they're not online and it looks like something more obscure or they might not see or find, I will. My first indication is to bring tweets or IGs over at the time I see them to be sure they aren't overlooked...but there is some overlapping with several people bringing stuff over from Twitter or IG. I didn't realize that IG pics are higher quality to save over Twitter pics. Learned something. I suppose instead of quoting somebody which posts the pics again, I could just reply with a reference in the reply to the person's previous post. TBH....the multiple posting of pics doesn't bother me at all...I can just scroll.
