Adam did say earlier in the year about an earthy blues feel to his new music and the use of guitars on every track .I'm really hoping that he is still taking that route.
Songs like Red House would be perfect for Adam I have to admit those are the type of songs , I would love to hear him sing .

From the article posted above: He was also worried that he wasn’t sufficiently mainstream to have a successful chart career – but he’s proved the doubters wrong. And more recently he’s started to write songs that reflect his love of blues and rock, creating music that has an earthy sound.
That sounds intriguing! Promising. Especially the blues! Don't get too excited because that article looks to me like it was pieced together from other interviews. Some of them not so recent.

Hmm, so my Unique Talent? From a serious perspective, my talents lie mostly in the technical realm. On a more quirky realm, I have long been known as the "Spin Queen" in both belly dance and ballroom classes. Double or triple spin in a swing, cha cha, or other dance, love it! I could do a dozen Chainé turns across the floor on an almost straight line and do spot turns in place for 5 minutes non-stop. On a more unique level, my belly dance troupe once did a long belly dance routine for a show in which each person or small group of people did about 16 measures of dance using props such as poi balls or long silk ribbons on a stick or big feather fans. I had a solo in which I spun continuously in place while doing tricks with 2 half circle silk veils. The video below is of the top professional belly dancer who specializes in this format. I am not near as good or flexible, but I enjoy it. The veil tricks from about 3:20 to 3:55 are some of the veil tricks I performed, but I went in both directions. And I wore endless wave harem pants like she has on, but I was much more covered on the top half. youtu.be/hpNYNAFXNdY

Adam has been saying for some time that he is going more alt/bluesy/rockish with real instruments so hopefully that is the case. Now would be the time to shake things up a bit.
I had people over (few family/friends) after returning from the Thanksgiving feast. I put on my TV for music from my collection. I played TOH album. They like Adam but are not fans who keep up with him. Interesting that almost all flipped for "There I Said It." Beautiful, emotional, touching. Kicked you in the gut and what a voice were some of the comments. I had to replay it a few times for them. I did not expect any of the more club songs to resonate as they remember him as the "Idol rocker" with the great voice. But they also liked GT, Heavy Fire, TOH and Lucy.

And that is some skill, to be able to turn like that without getting dizzy! I had no idea you were a belly dancer (or that belly dancers did so many turns...which is why I loved that video - I've never seen so many turns, amazing. She really creates an almost magical feel to her movement, like it's done by magic!)

Today, 24th November, is Celebrate Your Unique Talent Day! What are your talents? I can un-knot almost anything. That probably also means you have almost unlimited patience! *** I was just thinking...this "Talent" Day can mean anything - something quirky and funny, some skill or gift, any sort of talent... I was recently at a conference about giftedness, recognising and supporting gifted children, and there was a workshop where a question was asked about creativity - how many people in a population are creative, or gifted in some way... Surprisingly, 95% of children in pre-school are considered creative, then that number steadily declines in elementary school, and then abruptly declines in high school, until we get to a 5% number for adults... It's like our entire school system and adult lives are about trying to kill creativity and giftedness - like it's somehow wrong to be creative and gifted, so people stop doing that in order to "fit in", or whatever. I guess that is why we should be inspired by artists who don't fit into anyone's idea of what they should be, such as Adam Lambert. I truly hope everyone can celebrate their talents and be creative - it doesn't matter how, or in what area of their life, but I think it's important to be yourself no matter what.
