I don't know if we have this great pic of Brian. For you, Talon. I just read an article on the things people regret when they are on their deathbed. Not that Brian is in that situation right now, but, to see him and Roger performing in their biggest. most flashy productions ever, makes me think. They will be able to look back at this time and say that they took the risk, braved the likely criticism of fans and media, took the risk that audiences would not be interested in a couple of old guys, braved the fear that they might not be able to perform at the level they had in the past. They went for the gold one more time instead of puttering in the garden of their retirement homes, like Brian alluded to. And it has paid off astoundingly. They are selling out arenas around the world. They say they are playing better than ever. They sound as glorious as ever. They have witnessed the adoration of old fans and new generations of concert goers, and they are getting the most glowing reviews they have ever had, by a long shot. They will never experience the regret of playing it safe, not taking the risk to do what they love the most, bowing to the opinions of the naysayers, not risking the disapproval of others or the damaging of their reputations and legacy. Bravo, Brian and Roger. And thank you.

Could still be a knock off, but I rarely see fakes of these kinds of medals for sale. Normally it is just not worth it making an elaborate copy when real ones become available too (through heirs selling their family's medal and so on). But our antique trade is not in these kind of items, and I don't really know medals, so could be everything. Anyway, I don't think it is a big deal, but I am amused that Adam is wearing a European catholic royal pin. It might be this one? (there are four different ones) Hi Nick, Alex and Skaschep Only saw this discussion right now. Yes it 's a Portuguese military order, restricted to Cavalary and Navy and you are right Nick... it´s not a Knock off... our Adam uses no fake things... this is the real deal I offered Adam in TOH tour Zurich...he just loved it and of course he knows what he is wearing because I added a full family and history explanation... but I never tough he would use it in the show... thanks for that, for showing me that gorgeous pic that started this conversation. So, this was an honour receivied by my great grand parent and it was offered back in the day to those patented generals in the Army that made relevant Humanitary services to comun people in times of war and my greatv grand parent recieved the 4 of them, like you said Nic...always very well informed and documented.. Those 4, I thought run in the family... this one I gave to Adam but as Nic said I don´t know if the other 3 were sold in that auction; and yes Nic the one you posted is the one I gave Adam the others being slightly different. A distant cousin asked me to give it to him as soon as he knew I had it by heritage and lottery... but the fact is that as soon as I laid eyes on it(3 years ago ) I thought of Adam and decided to wait for the opportunity of giving it to him... our beautiful inside and out King that made possible the revival of Queen for our joy and delight... yes this is the whole story and I think everybody agrees I could not have found better owner for it. looking forward to see some of you in London the 12 and 13 December. OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ann!!!!!!!!! What an amazing story!! I am so happy I asked about it! WOW!!!

I noticed that too. Made that observation after the Belfast concert. You guys mean like extra happy? Like the last few shows? He is glowing for several months now imo...idk when I started noticing it... but it is consistent lately, not to mention the EXTRAORDINARY outpouring of shining energy during the concerts

Hhhmmmm...wonder if its the combination of new exiting music coming and QAL tour going so well with stellar reviews. But I've noticed that too. At times he is like a kid in a Xmas shop, all bright eyes and happy smiles. The cute skipping on stage lately...I kinda do it too at work now its so infectious:))
