April 7/17 recording in the desert Satellite Studio real life photo---there is another one I like just as much on the first page of that thread. I really like unretouched more rugged “real” photos of Adam - this obsession with digitally removing any kinds of supposed flaws or imperfections from photos (his and in general) is toxic. They are part of what make us beautiful and who we are.

Okay, not THIS has to be the photo for December on my 2018 calendar, don't you think? Silver and gold for the season.

While waiting for videos from today, I was reviewing my favorites from this European tour so far. YouTube decided I would like to hear Alfie Boe and Michael Ball sing a Queen medley. Two of the biggest male stars in musical theater, as in Phantom of the Opera, and Les Mis. Renowned voices. Highly trained voices. Experienced voices. Adam comes from a similar background. But, it just didn't work for me. The voices just didn't fit. Made me realize anew how extraordinary it is that Adam, with his highly trained voice capable of musical theater and opera, like these guys, can sing Queen so convincingly. Can make the switch of genres yet still retain his classical techniques. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLEQJUwlSGoThey are fabulous, but anyone who accuses Adam of sounding "too musical theater" or "Too operatic" with the Queen songs needs to listen to these guys! Eeeeeek!

NO offense to Paul Rodgers. But why would anything think that in the first place lol? Rodgers and Queen were all wrong for each other. because at that time there was no other choice ,, paul rogers was a well respected rock vocalist at that time ,you were a baby then Hi Lilly, missed your fun posts here!!!

Trying to catch up, sigh....never going to catch up on the all the videos lol. As for the calendar, may I just say I'm beyond excited at just the thought of another year of Adam pics. I would love a pic of Adam with Remy; and maybe Adam in the red leather for Valentines Definitely the pic of Adam sitting by the statue....love, love, love that one. Thanks to everybody bringing in pics and vids and other info. You've been my bright light in kind of a shitty year, staring last January (if you know what I mean). My company is downsizing, and I've been worried that I'm getting laid off after 24 years with them. Turns out they're keeping me, but I'm losing my coworker who has been with them for about 30 or so. Talk about survivor's guilt It just seems like the entirety of 2017 has been one negative thing after another, so I just look forward every day to come here and bask in the brilliance that is Adam. I love him so much ITA with you about wanting 2017 to be OVER!!! I started out the year with no job after being laid off. Finally found a job in April through a temp agency. It was supposed to be temp-to-hire. After they strung me along for 6 months they finally told me they never intended for the job to be permanent. They said they would "let" me stay until I found another job and then one week later laid me off. Friends at work called me the next Monday and told me they had been interviewing for my position and replaced me with another temporary employee the day after they laid me off. They didn't want to have to pay any benefits. I had never worked for a temporary agency before and didn't read the fine print and ended up not getting my unemployment. I have now been out of work with no pay check since October 13. During all of this we had the massive flooding with hurricane Harvey and my Mom and Step-Dad and Step-Mother lost their homes. My Mom and Step-Dad are still living in an RV outside their gutted house. My Step-Mother moved back into her house a few weeks ago, but is still waiting for kitchen cabinets to come in. In late October my 92-year-old Grandmother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She will be 93 this month and this will probably be her last Christmas. Then this past Monday my Step-Mother's sister died suddenly and very unexpectedly. She had been working in the yard, came in, got cleaned up and laid down to take a nap and never woke up. They did an autopsy yesterday because she died at home, but I haven't heard the results. She was only 73 years old and my Step-Mother's only sibling who was born when she was 7 years old. She is just devastated. The funeral is going to be on Monday. So I am more than ready to put 2017 behind me and pray that 2018 is a much better year!

Nice voices. I think Adam is really a student of sound. He doesn't let vocals slide into the background they have to be front and center or it's not a song, it's just music. And he's very particular about the amount of reverberation for different songs to give the song space.

I've always loved Adam in long coats. My love affair started with Sleepwalker on the Glamnation tour. Here, here
