I was supposed to fly to London today for the last 8 QAL concerts. But I have been sick with a respiratory infection and had to change my flight to next Sunday. So I will only be able to make the last 4 QAL concerts. I think it is beginning to clear up, so hopefully I'll be well enough by next Sunday. So, I have 4 QAL tickets that I cannot use. All 4 are being held at the venue's box office since they were not being mailed with enough time to reach me in the US. I called the UK TicketMaster customer service and for 3 of the venues I just have to write a letter of authorization for someone else to pick up the ticket. The 4th ticket I will just loose. If interested in one of these tickets, please send me a PM! I have the following tickets for sale. I will consider any offer if money is an issue.Dec 5, Nottingham, Block 6, Row A, asking 90 GBP (I paid 102) Dec 6, Leeds, Block 105, Row R, asking 300 GBP (I paid 144) This is a VIP ticket in a great section with great sound!!! Dec 8, Sheffield, Block 105, Row F, asking 90 GBP (I paid 102) Oh, I am so sorry!!

DancyGeorgia I'm so sorry to hear about your illness. I'm sure that someone on the Adam Lambert UK Fan Group on Facebook (that's the exact name if you're not a member) would be interested. I'm glad you're at least going to make 4 of the shows. I did admire your stamina doing 8 as you originally planned. I couldn't even face that many living on the doorstep as I do, let alone suffering from jet lag! Get well soon.

annadoresadam.....Loved your recap! So glad you have 3 more shows. One just isn't enough. I didn't experience any sound issues at any of my shows, sorry you did at this one. The lites were a little "too much" at a couple for me...just because they were blinding at times, but that's to be expected down on the floor. I haven't done a standing GA QAL show, but if I were to be in the UK now that's what I would definitely do. I have done quite a few for Adam's solo tours. Never had to queue for hours and hours in the cold. It's hard to stand for hours and hours at my age....but being on the actual barricade makes a ton of difference. Just being able to lean/prop on the barrier with only folks behind you...makes it not only bearable but the best place to be for close up visuals. You might want to try and queue for one of your remaining shows and get on the actual barricade.....I think you'd be glad you did. What are your 3 remaining shows? I can't remember...are you doing an onstage at one? I know several US Glamberts who will be at these remaining shows and they are queueing for the barricade at all of them. The interactions while waiting...even with Glamberts you don't know....can be a blast and helps pass the time. Thanks Bama. You're very kind. Yes, my friend who suffers from migraines had to look down at the floor quite a bit because of the lights. Luckily I wasn't affected. You're right, I've got on-stage for Sheffield next Friday, seated for Wembley the following Friday and then GA for the final show in Birmingham the day after. Couldn't get to Birmingham early even if I wanted to after my train gets in from London. No, I'm going to get to the Bham show at just before 8 and dance my way round the GA area as the fancy takes me so I won't be standing for long. I know how you love to be close but I don't need it every time. I want to make every show totally different so for my (and their) final show of this leg I'm going to take in the show and the crowd as a whole. Take a step back so to speak. Sounds like you've got every base covered. An onstage, a good seat and a wandering floor final show. That's a great assortment! and you won't have to queue all day long in the cold....lol.

Dancy....I'm so sorry that you're sick and will miss your first shows. But glad that you're still gonna be able to go and catch the last ones.

www.nationalrockreview.com/concert-reviews/queen-adam-lambert-metro-radio-arena-newcastle-ukQueen and Adam Lambert at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle, UK Adam Lambert is a true showman and also injects a degree of raunchy humour. Adam’s theatrical antics include circumnavigating the stage on a pink tricycle during “Fat Bottomed Girls” and being elevated on stage atop of Frank (from the painting by Frank Kelly Freas depicted on the News of the World cover) during “Killer Queen”. There is also room for a multitude of costume changes between numbers........ Adam Lambert’s simply astonishing performance during “Who Wants To Live Forever” is enough to silence even the die-hard Queen purists. He is truly a vocal powerhouse.

Annadoresadam I always enjoy reading recaps....your first QAL concert --- and to share in the experience with friends, before , during and after is as much a part of the whole experience. I have gone solo a few times, had amazing concert experiences, met up with a person or two, but only this last time in Edmonton--- no one to talk to and share in the after glow. ( even though tried to connect through meet up threads and pms). Being a part of a team there for ADAM -- makes it an even greater experience.
My first Adam concert was RiverRock in Vancouver. I went solo but met up with many who still post on Atop. It was an amazing weekend. As with you, the sound for me was not great. Both justkaren and myself found out by meeting and chatting with a group after the concert, that it was not the sound system....just how our ears react to loud sounds. Everyone else thought the sound was great. It has been discussed many times...but to share once more, I take good quality ear plugs with me. Who knows the differences between arena acoustics. Some concerts I did not need to use them, most concerts I have them in and out, or partially out, depending on the song. When they are in, I hear Adam. His voice is front and center, versus the band dominating. Just a thought.
I too like to experience the same concert from various vantage points....but nothing beats being leaning on the stage infront of Adam, or even row 2 at barrier. 😁
Wishing you grand adventures as you continue your concert hopping.

Voted! Adam likely will not win this, but we can at least give him a respectable showing. Do you vote by just touching his name...then the blue bars indicate totals? Thx Yes just touch Adam's name.. you should get how well he is doing... I don't know how often you can vote. they won't let me vote again..
