As today tends to be a bit slower I am daring to bring over two idol related, but non-Adam topics. Skip, if topic does not interest you: Lyndsey Parker interviewing Todrick Hall, and his statements about what personal experiences led up to his song Papi. www.yahoo.com/music/todrick-halls-songs-sexual-harassment-gun-control-take-new-relevance-2017-213039625.htmlIs also otherwise and interesting article, and I wish him all the best with both his new album, as well as with finally getting 'Straight Outta Oz' to Broadway, where it totally belongs. As a gay as well as black man, his has surely faced a tough road in the industry, more so than others do. Adam is not the only one that gets industry rejection or worse, is being told, oh how great, just to then be ignored. Secondly, and unrelated, here is her interview with KA, for whoever wants to read about it. www.yahoo.com/music/kris-allen-looks-back-5th-anniversary-car-accident-changed-life-233003298.html

He wrote it! He is the composer! You really should find it and watch. The music is incredible! Tim Rice is also mentioned (co-writer) When I was researching Tim Rice came up quite a bit. Of course my little ol' brain put Weber back in Shakespeare days so the fact he's alive was news. Rice always seems to be left in the background as if Weber wrote everything himself, perhaps it's the name Weber reminds me of the architect Frank Lloyd Wright so maybe there is just synergy there. Or to put it another way Weber is Freddie and Rice is Adam.

The UK part of this year's tour has been my favourite series of shows ever. Not because of natural 'home' affinity but because everything these men have, share, present to us, has been gloriously perfected and enhanced.
It's all come together with a cherry on top - perhaps the reviews and audience reaction have super-empowered Adam and compounded the faith and affection Brian and Roger feel for him.
Surely they must often look at him in awe!
He's no longer 'the new boy' or a 'keeper' - he is the 'very thing that made it all possible'.
He's won the battle for hearts and minds and compromised himself not at all.
It has been pure joy.....such a privilege to have watched from the start - three men bound by respect, love and gratitude for the precious gift of QAL.
And when QAL is over, well - I'm just going to be glad to have shared their moment in time.

Was listening to the local radio news and weather and traffic channel here near DC. KRIS ALLEN of all people was giving a one-on-one interview to the local entertainment reporter. I guess he was here in town with a Christmas themed tour. Of course, he got asked the Idol question and he, again, responded with his usual “I was just as surprised as everyone else when I won!”. Adam did get a mention, of course, as the runner-up and surprise upset. You know, just the usual. But, I found it odd that Kris waltzes into town with a Christmas show and gets an aired interview and bigger acts that appear here never make the news (like our Mr. Lambert).
ETA: btw, I’ve always thought Mr. Allen was a nice guy. I wish him the best.

And when QAL is over, well - I'm just going to be glad to have shared their moment in time. You're absolutely right. I expected the show to get better and betterer as it went along. It always does. Does for Adam's solo tours as well. The UK is home and they were running on all cylinders. I like to look back to when I first saw those 3 shows in 2012 at Hammersmith to 2014 US tour and to 2015 UK tour....until 2017 US and ending in the UK. I have been so blessed to have seen them live in 4 tours. Those who attended these last few shows hit the jackpot. Having been at that first show in Phoenix...up until this last show.... What a evolution. Even the outfits and hair evolved for the better..lol. In addition to the whole production, love, mutual respect and cohesiveness......Adam's vocals have soared as well. We got that long note in STL in Nashville, but then he went on to improve on the length of it, onto sliding up the "why" as routine, along with fine tuning things and pushing for more. QAL is now a well oiled machine...."guaranteed to blow your mind". I'm so grateful for the whole QAL experience annadoresadam......Loved your Wembley recap! Thanks for sharing! Cute pic in the mirror as well!
