After watching that video with non-auto tune performances, I have to admit that I can't understand one word of what Arianna Grande is singing. TBH, as a singer myself, Adele makes me cringe at times because it seems like she closes her throat to push out the notes. I might be wrong but her technique seems wrong which is why, I think, she has problems with nodes. Adam's technique is superb which is why he can sing for hours, show after show without destroying his voice. When he made a comment that stopped studying and just started singing I crack up. Yeah, by that time, he had mastered the skill.

Should have some instagrams and posts from Adam's NYE party. Looking forward to it. Last years party was big. Guess he's going for another big one!

...”finally gelling...”. Left handed compliment.... SAD SAD heh. My perspective I don’t think he or she was deliberately being under handed. Just a different perspective I guess. In their view it’s gelling. To coincide with all the nice things the reviewer said. But to finalise his position. He’s now been convinced by the Collibaration. That’s how I took it.

Yeah, by that time, he had mastered the skill. Adele’s very good live. But she does have a poor technique. Mainly from her throat. Adam sings from his chest. So yes he has a superb technique. Which is partly why he’s doing so phenomenally well with Queens catalogue. Ariana got a good voice for her age but as most her age. Her announiation could develop.

Totally agree that there is nothing negative with that review. Adam has evolved into his role and it is now Queen for the 21st century. He really isn't a "guest" anymore.

He, the reviewer, was slow to get it, but now has come around to the common view held in the music community, wants to hastily catch up, and instead of admitting that he came around to it, he has to find a reason why it was QAL's issue that he only joined the common agreed upon opinion now. Probably has to cover up earlier words to the contrary too, I would presume. Lol!

Clearly I need more sleep, but I don't understand this, so I 'll just ask for help instead. What are these guys measuring? QAL in Argentina was in September 2015. If they measure 2017 revenue in Argentina, how did QAL get in there? If it is a world-wide revenue number, how did QAL get to #2? I mean I wish it were so, but my mind tells me otherwise. Anyhow, perhaps I am reading this wrong, so please enlighten me. It's a summary of the current box score list: www.billboard.com/biz/current-boxscorePaul McCartney leads by a wide margin. He is followed by Queen + Adam Lambert and The Killers. 2017 is coming to an end, and with it, balance sheets also come. The tour of Paul McCartney One on One - which brought him to Argentina in May 2016 - was the most successful of the year, with a ticket sale that equaled USD 67,566,928. The silver medal is worn by Queen + Adam Lambert with 3,572,980 USD; and the bronze one, The Killers with 3,021,730 USD. They continue, in the fourth place, Little Mix with 2.924.410 USD, and in the fifth, Ozuna with 2.672.415 USD - the Puerto Rican is the only Latin of the top 10 of the most collecting tours-. Below, and in that order, there are Jamiroquai (2,295,730 USD), Gorillaz (2,072,630 USD), Kasabian (1,854,650 USD), Mariah Carey (1,525,000 USD) and Depeche Mode (1,446,430 USD). Well, yes, but what does that mean? Why are the O2 concerts included, but all others not? And why are tons of other artists who had successful world wide tours running, not included? it seams a very arbitrary snapshot in time, whatever partial count they are including. If it is supposed to be for all of 2017 as part of one of these year end counts, as you are suggesting, then why are all the QAL shows where box office numbers were already reported, not there. i.e. most of the US/Canada tour has long been reported. And why are so many other tours missing. It just seems so arbitrary selective.

Actually, Adam sings with chest, head voice, and mixes thereof. Or at least primarily so. He has to use his throat, any singer does, that is where the sound is made. But he does not need to squeeze his vocal chords, and others do, especially for high notes, as demonstrated unfortunately in that video. He also supports it with a solid breathing technique that does not use the chest so much, but rather the diaphragm and abdomen muscles. The benefit is that he gets solid support for any tone he wants to make and can control the flow of air much better. i.e. holding a note steady for a long time, like he does without going flat or sharp, or experiencing wobbling or other unwanted effects.
